Brittany Phillips Jun 16, 2019

Show notes

In the summer of 2004, an 18-year-old moved back to Tulsa, Oklahoma. She had actually grown up in Tulsa and gone to high school there, but had moved away the year prior to attend college.
Having become homesick, the following Spring she made the decision to move back to Oklahoma and attend school there, in order to be closer to her friends and family. It was a decision that her friends and family welcomed at the time, as it meant that she would be a constant presence in their lives once again.
Unfortunately, it was this decision - to move back home - which put this young woman in the sights of a killer. Close to fifteen years after her violent death, her loved ones - primarily her mother - continue to fight for justice, as her killer has never been identified, and her case remains as unsolved today as it was back in the Fall of 2004...

Cyle Van Komen & Kevin Nelson Jun 09, 2019

Show notes

In December of 2016, a home invasion turned violent in South Ogden, Utah.
24-year-old Cyle Van Komen lived in a home along the 3600 block of Ogden Avenue, along with a handful of young roommates. On the evening of December 9th, 2016, a couple of these roommates stepped out for a few minutes, just as 61-year-old neighbor Kevin Nelson stopped by for a quick visit.
Within ten minutes, all hell would break loose inside the house. A group of masked individuals had been watching the house from afar, waiting for the opportune moment to strike. Unbeknownst to them, they had been captured by a neighbor's surveillance footage, but their motives - and identities - remain unknown to this day...

Show notes

Through 1984 and 1985, a mysterious group calling itself "The Monster With 21 Faces" waged an extortion and blackmail campaign against numerous Japanese companies.
This bizarre vendetta began on March 18th, 1984, when Glico company president Katsuhisa Ezaki was abducted from his home in Nishinomiya. He was held for three days, but - following his escape - his abductors would pivot their torment from him to his company.
For about a year-and-a-half, these villainous schemers would harass companies until they agreed to pay a ransom. More than 30 years later, their true motives and identities remain unknown...
