Jayson Tatum put the basketball world on notice that he is a legit NBA superstar, leading the Celtics to a game seven win over the defending champion Milwaukee Bucks and a ticket to the Eastern Conference Finals against Miami. QUESTION: Can the Celtics handle the Heat's pressure defense and do they have enough depth? Is this the best defensive Celtics team you've ever seen?

Vince Wilfork is the newest member of the Patriots Hall of Fame. Very well deserved for Big Vince! However, why do the Patriots limit inductions to one per year? Logan Mankins and Mike Vrabel will certainly both end up in the Patriots Hall of Famers. The bigger question is WHY isn't Bill Parcells in already? He turned the franchise around!

The US Open is coming to the Country Club in Brookline next month. Will Phil Mickelson play? What the heck has happened to "Lefty"? He has become persona non grata since he tried to play Greg Norman's Saudi Arabian government backed LIV Golf Invitational Series against the PGA Tour. Should he apologize to the PGA Tour? He has withdrawn from defending his miraculous win at the PGA Championship, which he won last year at the age of 50. Oh the drama....and it doesn't even involve Tiger Woods!!

And YES, Kyrie is still self absorbed, and ,NO, he would never play team basketball like these Celtics did. The Bucks are next up for the Green Team!

On to the Red Sox, who are shorthanded in Toronto because of two unvaccinated players and their manager has Covid. ALL the games count, even in April. Do you still think this Sox team is a contender?

NFL draft is Thursday night and no one around here is talking about the Patriots. Weird, right?

We pay tribute to the great Guy LaFleur, Montreal Canadians legend, who passed away last week at age 70. He broke Bruins' fans' hearts with grace, class and a booming shot! RIP Guy! BTW, Mike Lynch WCVB has a great story about the Bruins coming back through customs from Montreal!
