Streak over! The Cleveland Cavaliers have their winning streak SNAPPED by Giannis and the Bucks Jan 25, 2024

Show notes

Kevin Stefanski is the favorite to win the NFL's Coach of the Year Award.

If he does, he'll be just the fourth coach in NFL history to win the award twice in a four year span, joining Mike Ditka, Joe Gibbs and Bruce Arians.

But does that mean Stefanski should continue to call plays for the Browns in 2024, or will the new OC take over those duties?

Duce Staley is the Browns new RB coach after the two sides agreed to a contract on Wednesday. Assuming Nick Chubb is healthy, can Staley help unlock another level to his game?

Myles Garrett has been named the DPOY by the PWFA, but does that make him a lock to win the real award next month?

The Cleveland Cavaliers 8-game winning streak came to an end Wednesday in Milwaukee against the Bucks. Did Giannis & Dame expose a key weakness in the Cavs moving forward?

Plus, Jim Harbaugh has left Michigan to take the Chargers head coaching job. What does that mean for the Browns in the AFC, and Ohio State in their quest for a National Championship?

Is it NOW or NEVER for Ryan Day and the Ohio State Buckeyes? | Tyvis Powell breaks it down Jan 24, 2024

Show notes

Joe Flacco was the Cleveland Browns best quarterback in 2023.

Deshaun Watson is the Cleveland Browns quarterback of the future.

Flacco made it very clear he wants to play again in 2024, but would he be willing to come back to the Browns to be Watson's backup, or will he go somewhere he has a better chance at being the starter?

If Flacco does come back, could the two co-exist in the same QB room or would it cause a rift between the locker room?

The Cleveland Browns have yet to make an offensive coordinator hire, but Kevin Stefanski and company have completed multiple interviews up to this point. The Browns aren't the only team with an OC job opening around the league, so how attractive is the position in Cleveland compared to others in the NFL?

Former All-Pro OLB Shawne Merriman joins the show to talk all things NFL and NFL playoffs.

The LA Lakers are reportedly interested in Donovan Mitchell, but there's no indication the Cleveland Cavaliers are willing to part ways with their All-NBA guard right now. With how well the team is playing, there's no chance they'd trade Mitchell now, is there?

Plus, Ohio State continues to add to its already uber talented roster, putting all the pressure on Ryan Day to win in 2024. Can he do it, or will he wilt under the pressure?

Has Deshaun Watson been disappointing so far through his tenure as a Cleveland Brown? Jan 23, 2024

Show notes

The Cleveland Browns have filled their open TE coach position.

Kevin Stefanski reached to the collegiate ranks to hire Tommy Rees to his offensive staff.

Rees was Alabama's offensive coordinator in 2023 after spending most of the previous decade at his alma matter, Notre Dame.

Rees was hand picked by Nick Saban to lead his offense this past year, and now he joins an offensive staff with the Browns to help take David Njoku and this passing game to the next level.

Brian Callahan appears to be headed to Tennessee to be the Titans next head coach, and there's a chance his father, Browns OL coach Bill Callahan, leaves Cleveland to coach with his son. If that happens, how big of a loss would Bill be for this offensive staff?

Bull is going to make a lot of people mad with his take today on Deshaun Watson's first two years in Cleveland.

Plus, the Cleveland Cavaliers continue to not just win games, but dominate their opponents. Donovan Mitchell, Jarrett Allen & Sam Merrill led the way to a 27-point win over Orlando on Monday, extending the team's win streak to eight games.

What else does this team need to do to change your perception of them before the playoffs?

Plus, with Tyvis in today, we have to talk a little Ohio State and whether or not this is a do-or-die year for Ryan Day with arguably the best roster in the sport now.

Where did Browns GM Andrew Berry sidestep step and where was he concrete | Jason Lloyd reacts Jan 22, 2024

Show notes

The Cleveland Browns are adamant about bringing in a new offensive coordinator to maximize the skillset of Deshaun Watson.

DW4 hasn't had the production we had hoped for in his first 2 seasons with the Browns, but the team is hoping a new OC can unlock his full potential.

Former Browns QB & Bills OC Ken Dorsey interviewed for the job over the weekend, and Houston Texans QB coach Jerod Johnson is set to interview for the AVP's former position later this week.

Seattle OL coach Andy Dickerson interviewed for the job last week.

Is either Dorsey or Johnson the right fit with DW4 to unlock his All-Pro potential?

Former NFL RB Duce Staley has an offer on the table from the Browns for their open RB coach position, but he's also weighing an offer for the same position with the Jets. Is there any reason a coach would take the gig in NYC over the gig in CLE if the money is the same?

The Baltimore Ravens beat the Houston Texans in convincing fashion on Sunday, which may make you feel better or worse about the Browns Wild Card loss depending on how you feel.

Baker Mayfield threw a late INT that sealed a trip to the NFC Title game for the Lions, while Patrick Mahomes outdueled Josh Allen for a trip to the AFC Title game.

Plus, Andrew Berry is holding his final presser of 2023 and we'll react live to what the Browns GM has to say.

2 new candidates emerge in the Cleveland Browns OC search - is either one the right fit for DW4? Jan 22, 2024
