Shane Gillis' SNL Joke About Women, Trump's Press Secretary Gets DRAGGED & What Really Turns Us On Oct 14, 2026
    Show notes

Joy Taylor and Hayley are back with a lot to say. First up is Shane Gillis' SNL monologue and his joke about how women dress at the gym. Joy has been to a Shane show and thinks he's a genuinely funny comedian, but she says this joke was lazy and out of touch, and it came at a time when women are already furious. She also opens up about the comments she gets about her own body online.

Then the girls share their oddly specific turn-ons: nap partners, clean wallets, someone who knows your food order, and more. After that, Joy reacts to Katie Zacharia's first White House press briefing and makes the case that the people in charge are supposed to be serious. The episode closes with a tough round of Personally, Would You Rather: would you change one major decision from your past, or see the outcome of every big decision before you make it?

Da'Vinchi Calls Us Lazy, Trump vs. LA & Savannah's Plane Seat & Dara's GOATED Scene in The Drop Oct 07, 2026
    Show notes

Joy Taylor is on the road, and she and Hayley have a lot to get into.

First up: actor Da'Vinchi's viral sit-down with Cam Newton on Funky Friday. The BMF star said people in higher positions can't trust the American work ethic and agreed there's a stigma about how people from the Caribbean, Africa and the UK view Black Americans. Joy had never heard of him before this interview, and she has thoughts: he was born and raised in Brooklyn, he's paid to play Black American characters, and for her the whole conversation comes back to one thing, proximity to whiteness.

Then Joy and Hayley react to President Trump's comments about Los Angeles and San Diego at his Nebraska rally, the crowd that cheered, and why Joy says these midterms matter more than ever.

Plus: Savannah James and her best friend April McDaniel have the internet arguing about plane seats. Joy explains the real difference between business and first class, why money boundaries keep friendships alive, and what she learned the hard way about people who expect you to pay.

Also: Dara is the GOAT. The scene from The Drop: A Snowfall Saga that has everyone talking about yearning, and why Joy says you will never catch her doing it. (Spoilers ahead.)

Joy shares why her older sister, who chose the traditional life, is one of the most successful people she knows, and why every woman needs her own money no matter what life she chooses.

Then: why do cheaters keep lying even after they're caught red-handed? Joy tells one of the most notorious lies she's ever been told. Plus, this week's Would You Rather: $1 million cash today, or go back to 18 with everything you know now?

The Cornell 7, Nicki Minaj's Fox Interview, and Who's Hiding What in Their Camera Roll Sep 29, 2026
    Show notes

** This episode includes discussion of SA .

Joy Taylor, Hayley and Spex take on a heavy week of news. First up is the Cornell 7 lawsuit. A former student is suing the university, a fraternity and seven current or former members over an alleged 2024 assault. That leads into a deeper conversation about victim blaming, institutional failure, the 57 men in the group chat who did nothing, and what parents of boys need to be teaching at home. Joy looks back on the buddy-system rules she and her friends lived by in college 20+ years ago, and why nothing has changed.

Then the crew reacts to Nicki Minaj's Fox interview with Lara Trump and her comments on Democrats and pop culture. That turns into a real-talk plea ahead of the midterms: register, research your ballot, ask questions, and stop taking political cues from celebrities.

Plus, this week's Would You Rather: expose your search history or your camera roll? It goes exactly where you think it goes.

    Show notes

Trump bans CNN, MSNBC, and Politico from the White House — and even Fox is pulling out of pool coverage. Joy and Hayley break down what it means for a free press (and drop a few names of history's worst dictators along the way). Then: Jake and Logan Paul show up at the Pentagon to address troops, Gen Z's TikTok campaign wants millennials to retire so they can move up (absolutely not), and Joy tells the story of her "Witch Era" — the night a guy sat down uninvited at her table and got scared off with one line. Then rapper/actor Symba joins the couch to talk playing Tiptoe on FX's The Drop, the Snowfall spinoff carrying one of TV's great sagas forward and how the role almost went differently, what he learned on set, and how the music industry's obsession with virality is leaving real experience behind. Show notes

Pro Football Hall of Famer Michael Irvin sits down with Joy Taylor for an episode that goes way past football. Michael opens up about the time federal agents showed up at his own training camp because a scammer was using his identity to con women, a story he's kept quiet until now.

Jakes, his emotional exit from the NFL, and a full-throated defense of Jerry Jones' legacy. Michael also reflects on Jimmy Johnson, the current state of NIL, and why he refuses to let anyone else's opinion override his own experience.
