Second Floor Chicken Dinner (season 1 finale) Jun 01, 2022

Show notes

And so we come to the end of Season 1 of Two Chocolate Cakes, and it is with one of the most bland meals out of the entire series, but still a meal I love more than anything--it is a comfort meal that I eat even now, many years later. It is also one of the only kinds of meat I can manage to cook myself! Well, besides hotdogs.

I hope you have enjoyed this first season of Two Chocolate Cakes and I am excited to bring you Season Two before the end of the summer!

The SideCar podcast will continue weekly on the weekends and if you want to stay up to date, get behind the scenes special downloads and recipes, swag and more, you'll want to join the Patreon--there are 4 levels of support, from $3/month to $25/month with varying levels of goodies.

Quintana Roo's Tofu Scramble May 11, 2022

Show notes

There was something about Portland that gave me courage. I don't know if it was the weather, or the fact that I had a job where I was respected, or if it was all that incredible beer (and let me tell you, the beer was OUTSTANDING) or if it was the rain, but it was something. I only wish that I had banked some of that courage for the future.
