It's a terrifying story about Patricia Aguilar being lured into a cult online. Because she's newly 18 years old - the authorities, of course, cannot do much to help track her down leaving her family to literally do all the work to get her home.

Shannon and Chloe recap episodes 1 & 2 of the Shiny Happy People Docuseries. We have ALOT of opinions about this one and the conclusion is...this is just another awful male-centric cult. Shocking that the whole basis of the IBLP is fear-based control of children and women - (she says sarcastically.) How is this still happening!!! We also bond over our own run-ins with purity culture!

Larry Gene Bell (a disgusting non-human) abducts Shari at her mailbox then proceeds to taunt her family with phone calls giving them hope that she is still alive. His harassment of the Smith family is absolutely shocking and Bell goes down in our books as one of the worst predators ever!
