Fantasy Football Advice with Jen Piacenti, Eagles/Cowboys Reaction, new NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds, review of Baseball future bets the Good, the Bad and the Harry Sep 28, 2021
    Show notes

Cousin Sal and the Parlay Kid react to the big Monday Night Football game between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles as control of the NFC East was on the line.

Now that we are three weeks into the season the guys discuss the changing odds on NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year as Ja’Marr Chase (+400) is now the favorite. The guys discuss how the much-hyped rookie quarterbacks have struggles but Parlay Kid defends them as they don’t have much talent around them.

Then fantasy expert Jen Piacenti joins the show to discuss the best way for fantasy football owners to deal with Christian McCaffrey’s hamstring injury, who she is selling high on, and who tops her waiver wire this week.

As the baseball season winds down the guys discuss their futures bets from the beginning of the season – both good and bad as the Parlay Kid is not counting his Yankees to win the World Series out, plus Harry had some huge duh’s including a stolen base leader who barely played this season. Then, Harry makes the bold statement that he discovered Robbie Ray and wants to take credit for his potential Cy Young season even though he didn’t bet him.

Todd Haley interview, Should Big Ben have retired?, Justin Tucker saves the Ravens, Monday Night Preview: Eagles @ Cowboys Sep 27, 2021
    Show notes

Cousin Sal and the Degenerate Trifecta are back to recap week 3 as Sal proved that you actually can bet against Tom Brady and win. The Rams look like the best team in the NFC and Sal’s Bills/Rams Super Bowl prediction looks good. The guys discuss the end of the Ravens/Lions game and how long they think Justin Tucker’s record-breaking field goal will stand. The Parlay Kid argues it should have never counted and Tucker saved thousands of people’s survivor league entries.

The guys then discuss their Betaches as once again Harry has a confusing one about the WNBA. Sal challenges Harry to put money on Kirk Cousins (80-1) to win MVP.

Next up, the guys preview the Monday night matchup Cowboys (-3) against the Eagles as nearly everyone is loading up on the Cowboys except for Brother Bri. They also discuss prop bets and who they think will score the first touchdown.

Then former NFL head coach and offensive coordinator Todd Haley joins the show to discuss Ben Roethlisberger’s early struggles and why he thought Ben would have retired this off-season. Todd explains why rookie quarterbacks have struggled early this season and why it’s even more impressive that Justin Herbert has been able to do what he’s done. Todd talks about coaching Tony Romo early in his career, coaching high school football, and being pranked by Terrell Owens after a McDonald’s mishap.

The guys close the show with their Sharp Tank picks as the Parlay Kid and Brother Bri have been riding hot streaks – who will Sal choose to go with?

Jen Piacenti, Early NFL Playoff bets, MLB MVP and Cy Young, Which NL West Team Wins? Sep 21, 2021
    Show notes

Cousin Sal and the Degenerate Trifecta kick this Tuesday episode off by deciding which 0-2 and 2-0 teams will and won't make the playoffs. Sal, Brother Bri, and the Parlay Kid all like a certain AFC West team to not make it. To no surprise, Harry still gives Sam Darnold no love.

Next, the guys discuss who should win the NL MVP as it looks like it's a competition between Tatis Jr. and Bryce Harper. Following this, they talk about NL and AL Cy Young winner, and while the NL looks like it could be decided, Parlay Kid and Harry have differing opinions on the AL side.

Finally, they are joined by fantasy expert, Jen Piacenti, to discuss early busts of the season, who you should watch for on the waiver wire, and why Sam Darnold is actually a good fantasy quarterback, despite Harry's dislike for him.
