This week, Alice and Skyler get into Alice's days in New York, Garret revoking Alice's backstage pass privileges due to his sleep deprivation, the deep ties shared by members of Gen X, the hell of buying vintage, and much, much more. Behind the paywall, they get into DS9 season four, episode eight, "Little Green Men" AND Futurama season three, episode nineteen, "Roswell That Ends Well," because Skyler thought covering both, given that they're essentially beat-for-beat versions of each other, sounded fun. Topics include Baby Boomer throwbacks, the dulcet sounds of Ferengi language, Fry becoming his own grandfather, whether or not the film industry should take Skyler's big idea of just re-using already-used scripts, Zero Dark Thirty-ing Quark, Zoidberg's eating habits, Alice's Treks-first history vs. Skyler's Futurama-first history, and so. damn. much. more. Also, Alice was LIVE from a NEW YORK HOTEL ROOM so please forgive any wonky sound, you know how that damn big city is. Listen!!

This week, Alice and Skyler are joined once again by the great Ben Rodgers (Star Trek: Lower Decks, the Actionboyz podcast) to discuss what everyone can hear, just how big a car Ben drives, giving up on English, the joys of recognizing that somebody looks like somebody else regardless of whether or not the resemblance may be rude to share with them, which member of Boygenius Skyler saw perform recently, what Boygenius is, and much, much more. Behind the paywall, they get into DS9 season four, episode seven, "Starship Down." Topics include R. Crumb, the best scary tech to build a horror movie around, the iHome, whether or not Deep Space Nine will ever figure out what to do with Worf now that he's a part of the crew, who's really responsible for the death of the inventor of the Segway, Bashir being gross, Kira being weird about Sisko yet again, being a Crom-head, and more. This week, Alice, Skyler, and Vero(!!!!) discuss the medical origins of Biscuit, Alice's cat's crying, where Vero's been, why Skyler's so nervous, the rote tasks of Alice's newest streaming game, the joys of parallel Stardew Valley play, and much, much more. Behind the paywall, they get into DS9 season four, episode six, "Rejoined." Topics include vomit (be warned, if you are vomit-phobic, for the ~thirteen minute zone), how Vero's shows have been going, how much free time Vero has now that she's pregnant, moving apartments, and doing so many shows, what the hell goes on with the Trill/new-host dating taboo, Symbiant logistics, getting some tough talk from Sisko, being included in gossip about you, the chemistry between Dax and her ex wife, Bashir being a bad (and hammy) friend, Spaceballs, and more. This week, Alice and Skyler (perfectly, recognizably) sing in the style of Blink 182 before discussing the joy of reaching for things that are high up, whether Being John Malkovich or The Lord of the Rings is the more famous "low ceilings" movie, Skyler's passion for plastic surgery, how wild it is that The Swan never got even more public scrutiny, realistic mantras, and much, much more. Behind the paywall, they get into DS9 season four, episode five, "Indiscretion." Topics include gumar culture, Alice trying her damnedest to find out what her design client wants, how this episode maps onto Sex and the City, Gul Dukat being way too eager to kill one of his kids, Vaudevillian canes, and more. Listen!!

This week, Alice and Skyler discuss Skyler living in Kafka's "The Metamorphosis," looking up the story's famous first line which, luckily, can be found online thanks to the University of Pennsylvania, Alice's upcoming protest plans, the great vibes that prestige TV's creating right now, and much, much more. Behind the paywall, they get into DS9 season four, episode four, "Hippocratic Oath," which... neither of them really liked. Topics include O'Brien's space racism, Odo butting heads with Worf re: actually stopping crime, Bashir being annoyingly resistant to... doing his job, the pros and cons of helping the Jem'Hadar, Ringo joining Star Fleet, and? More. Listen!!

This week, Alice and Skyler are detouring from DS9 with a BLOCKBUSTER of an episode, free for all to enjoy. That's right, they're taking a trip to the Barlcay Center—the REGINALD Barclay Center, The Next Generation's punching-bag engineer character, and they're joined once again by the great Danny Solomon to do so. Together, they discuss the TNG crew's weird disdain for a guy who's just trying to fit in, O'Brien coming from a long line of transporter engineers, the ethics of interrupting someone's Holodeck session, the transporter creating a Fly situation, the horror of receiving an Edible Arrangement from Picard, and much, much more. This week, Alice and Skyler shout out their first "Fashion Intruder"-level Patreon subscriber WITH reverb before diving into Redditors' posting histories, not cutting something in post, getting hair done, interesting hair developments across the DS9 cast this season thus far, the size of red, molecule-wise, what the hell's going on with Skyler's apartment hunt since last week (which was recorded only moments before this week's episode), and more. Behind the paywall, they get into DS9 season four, episode three, "The Visitor," which... absolutely rocks. Topics include the great, recently departed Tony Todd, finding where your heroes live and paying them an uninvited visit, Sisko's latest sing-song-y line delivery, some parallels between the arming of the station and The Expanse (around 45 minutes in, be warned, should you want to know nothing about... those parallels), the wonders of Interstellar, and? More. Listen!!

This week, Alice and Skyler discuss being boring, Alice's parents enjoying Canadian sushi, Zac Efron's Comtek etiquette, Skyler's slow-going moving process, and more. Behind the paywall, they pick up where they left off last week and discuss the actual meat of the two-part DS9 season four premiere, "The Way of the Warrior," again with Alice's Resident Alien co-star, the great Sara Tomko. Together, they all go deep on just what it is about war that those Klingons love so much, where the episode was refreshingly progressive for its time, where it wasn't, Klingon spa days, Sisko's sing-song-y ways, whether or not he deserved his big kiss this episode, Worf going bro-mode for information, and more. Listen to the whole thing!!

This week, Alice and Skyler are joined by the great Sara Tomko, Alice's dear friend and Resident Alien co-star. Together, they... don't really get into the (pretty great) DS9 season four premiere, "The Way of the Warrior," because, much like the premiere... this one's a two-parter. Before the paywall, they talk the color of creeps' money, sound effects websites, marketing ideas for La Croix, Alice's crow trap, and much, much more. Behind the paywall, they... also don't get that far into the feature-length premiere, but they do get into Odo's whole deal, which alien species they'd all most like to play, Worf's developing love life, ASMR, the degree to which The Dominion's big goo pool is not not like the Olympic Village, if the worm in a bottle of tequila's a prize, and, yet again, much, much more.

This week, Alice and Skyler discuss Victorian breathing, the work of Jane Austen, whether or not "WAP" will be a future generation's Pride and Prejudice, the brainrot of novels, and more. Behind the paywall, they go long on the DS9 season three finale, episode 26, "The Adversary," which includes a bunch of homages to The Thing, a bunch of homages to The Blue Man Group, and at least one changeling absolutely going off. Other topics include the demise of Skype, Giamatti's upcoming Treks role, what... Odo's... job... is..., Sisko's promotion, and the show's biggest listener demo, the current members of the US Navy. Also, please do not get upset with us, Canada didn't have the dongles we expected them to and Alice's track is a little wonky-sounding as a result, BUT IT'S STILL PRETTY GOOD.
