Bill was watching BBC America recently and came across two Voyager episodes he'd never seen.

It was the season 7 two-parter, "Workforce," in which the crew finds themselves kidnapped by an alien race and put to work in their industrial plants. Their memories have been altered and they have no memory of the life they know.

Geek the Stump Sep 12, 2017
    Show notes

This week, Dan puts Bill's Star Trek knowledge is to the test in a truly epic round of Geek the Stump!

Five tough trivia questions. (Well, more like tough for "Teen Jeopardy.")

One multi-part bonus. (Weeeellll...we'll see about that.)

Bill can't use any reference materials of any kind–he has to rely on the knowledge in his tiny pea brain to answer the questions posed to him!

Will he be victorious?! I think we all know the answer to that but, still...find out on this week's episode of Your Independent Star Trek Podcast!

PARENTS: The following episode of the podcast contains mature content and themes including an open and frank discussion on the topics of suicide and self-harm which may be unsuitable for younger listeners.

    Parental discretion is strongly advised.

This week, we look at the sixth episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

Captive Pursuit introduces us to the first visitor to the station from the Gamma Quadrant. He is Tosk and there's a lot he's not telling our crew.

This was an episode that demonstrated that DS9 could be every bit as much Trek as TOS and TNG before it, and there's a lot to discover in this story.

Additionally, this was the episode that literally saved Dan's life and we'll talk about the episode in that context as well.

We hope you will join us for this very special episode of Your Independent Star Trek Podcast.

    DISCOVERING TREK

This episode also features a preview of the full-length Episode 0 of our brand new podcast, "Discovering Trek: A Star Trek Discovery Companion!"

Stay tuned after the end theme for our introduction to the new show and when you're done, head on over to DiscoveringTrek.com to find out more!
