Feel The Burn // KingNUMB (Part 4) // Brie Davis May 07, 2023

Show notes

In Week 4 of the KingNUMB series, Pastor Brie shared a powerful message that caused us to examine our hearts. If you’ve ever felt disconnected from the presence of God, this message is for you! Sometimes the effect of our busyness, schedules, plans, grief, and loss can get in the way of being present with God’s presence. In this message, we take time to meditate on our blessings, brokenness, and what we have to give. We believe you will have the opportunity to ignite your faith and feel God burn within you again.

Numb One // KingNUMB (Part 3) // Tim Ross Apr 30, 2023

Show notes

Pastor Tim Ross walks us through the story of the prodigal son. Sometimes being numb to your current reality can cause you to make decisions that are outside of God’s will. While the youngest son was outside of his father’s presence, he squandered his money and found himself working amongst pigs. Sin always takes you farther than you planned. In the midst of being in the pig stye, the youngest son came to his senses. In repentance, he ran back to his father’s house and was greeted with a party only to be met by a brother who was numb himself. What this message teaches us is that there can be 2 extremes of being numb - for some of us, we have sinned and can come back to our senses, for others we have to be careful to not allow our outward “perfection” to make us numb to our inward imperfections.

Luke 15:11 - 32 NLT

You Thought You Were Feeling Me??? // KingNUMB (Part 2) // Tim Ross Apr 23, 2023

Show notes

There are times in our walk with God when we can become numb and we lose the sensation and sensitivity of God in our hearts. There’s nothing good that comes from numbness; outside culture can influence your inside character, it’s hard to discern good from bad, and compromise can happen when you lose feeling.
Once we remove the noise and the gods we may have created, we will see that God has been speaking the entire time. Through the power of God and this message, we pray Holy Spirit highlights the areas of numbness and brings back your sensitivity.

He Set It Straight // KingNUMB (Part 1) // Jerry Flowers Apr 16, 2023

Show notes

Pastor Jerry Flowers kicked off the KingNUMB series with a message titled, “He Set it Straight”. We delved into the story of the woman with an infirmity for 18 years in Luke 13:10-17. Like the woman, the enemy wants us to keep looking down on our troubles and dirt so that we become numb to the power of the Gospel. As we continue to bring ourselves to Church and the community of Christ, Jesus sees us, calls us and looses us. Our worship, prayer and devotion set things straight in our life and our legacy.

QUALIFIED TO MULTIPLY // EASY MONEY (PART 4) // TIM ROSS Apr 02, 2023

Show notes

It’s week 4 of Easy Money, and we have our oversight pastor Tim Ross sharing a powerful word with us! In today’s message, Pastor Tim shows us what it means to be a multiplier in the Kingdom. We aren’t called to get money so we can hold onto it & hoard it for ourselves. We are called to get money so we can give it away. When we realize that God is trusting us to be a blessing to others, we can easily give away whatever He asks of us. We realize it’s not our own, and when we can give away what He has trusted us with, He multiplies it.

Power Trip 2 Power Flip: Serve The Kingdom // KingDUMB (Part 4) // Michael Todd Feb 26, 2023

Show notes

Today, Pastor Mike taught us how to serve in the kingdom of God. We learned that oftentimes we want to do what feels good, but we don’t serve our feelings. We place our feelings sub to the mission of God. How do you know you’re serving the King? It’s typically the opposite of what you want to do. Jesus even had opportunities to power trip but he had a power flip and walked in righteousness instead. This message will teach you how to surrender your feelings and opinions in order to walk in your God-given dominion.
