God's Hand Over Jamie: Three Miraculous Escapes - TBH 387 Oct 05, 2025

Show notes

"The wind changed direction, and I was caught in this massive fire. I screamed out to God to save me. My face was on fire, and somehow I was suddenly lifted, and floating."

----------

Jamie's life has been miraculously spared more than once. At just fifteen he was caught in a raging fire — but instead of dying, he was mysteriously floated to safety, though badly burned.

Years later, in a violent South American prison, a man stood before Jamie ready to kill him. Once again, God intervened. And during what became Hurricane Earl, off the coast of Cozumel, Jamie and six others found themselves scattered in the sea with no way out. Yet all survived.

As Psalm 31:15 declares, "My times are in Your hands." Jamie's story is a gripping reminder that until God's purpose for us is complete, nothing can cut our lives short.

Heaven, Pets, and a Father's Message from the Afterlife - TBH 386 Sep 28, 2025

Show notes

"I took his cell phone into the bathroom, locked the door, and said to God, 'If you want me away from this guy, you're going to have to help me break the password code and see what's in here.' I hit a bunch of keys, and I was in!"

----------

Samantha came to God with raw and painful questions. Through tears she asked if her dog was in heaven. She pleaded to know where her father was in the afterlife. In desperation, she even begged for help breaking into her boyfriend's phone to confirm what she feared—that he was cheating.

And yet, God answered. In ways she could not forget, He revealed His presence and His love.

Like Mary, Samantha has pondered these moments in her heart. They are treasures, reminders of a God who cares deeply. That's why we keep a spiritual "cookie jar," filled with stories of His faithfulness to reach into whenever life feels overwhelming.

Addiction, Blindness, and the Prayer that Saved Josh - TBH 385 Sep 21, 2025

Show notes

"In my battle with alcohol, I felt like there was something with barbed hooks attached to my chest. I cried out to God, "please don't let me die."

----------

Josh just wanted to make music. As a kid, the dream was to be in a band. But then life collapsed — his parents split, alcohol took over, and older women pulled him further off course.

Along with the drinking came something darker — a clutching at his chest that felt like barbed hooks haunted him for decades. He believed if it ever let go, he would die. Then came the shock I can relate to, blindness in his mid-20s. Like me, Josh has retinitis pigmentosa. It drove him back to the bottle. But, this is touched by Heaven, which means the story doesn't end there. Two years ago, a tiny prayer snowballed into the miracle that made Josh — in his words — the happiest blind man you'll ever meet. Enjoy the podcast!

A Glimpse Beyond the Last Breath - TBH 384 Sep 14, 2025

Show notes

"My mom hadn't spoken in four years. But when my dad passed away, she let go of his hand, her head shot upward, she began pointing straight up—and then the play-by-play began."

----------

Sometimes heaven breaks through in the most unexpected ways.

Heather's parents had faced years of suffering—cancer, strokes, and decline. Her mom, weighed down by Alzheimer's, had not spoken in four years. Yet, at the very moment Heather's father passed away, everything changed. Mom suddenly lifted her head, pointed upward, and began to speak—doing the impossible.

What she revealed left no doubt that she was aware of exactly what was happening. In this unforgettable episode, Heather shares not only this remarkable moment, but also other experiences that remind us there is life beyond what we see. Enjoy the podcast!

The Prayer that Stopped the Bleeding, a Delivery Room Miracle - TBH 383 Sep 07, 2025

Show notes

"The baby was delivered via C-section. but my wife was hemorrhaging, 2 Liters of blood, and the doctors didn't know from where. Her blood pressure was down to 52/38, and she was losing consciousness."

----------

I asked Johnny, " How did you pray differently?"

This week on Touched by Heaven, we meet musician, Johnny Hall, whose life took a dramatic turn in the delivery room.

Known for leading praise and worship at healing services and events like Encounter School of Ministry, Johnny had learned about bold, Spirit-filled prayer. Those lessons became more than theory when his wife Danielle's life was suddenly in jeopardy during the birth of their daughter, Sadie.

With doctors confused and scrambling, Johnny did the only thing he knew to do—call on the Holy Spirit and a prayer of command.

What unfolded next left everyone stunned and confirmed for Johnny the power of God moving in real time. This is a story of faith, a type of prayer that you need to know, and a God who listens. Enjoy the podcast!

Mary Calls, Vickie Answers - TBH 382 Aug 31, 2025

Show notes

"I was in the middle of a massive migraine when I heard a woman's voice saying, 'Go to a Catholic church.' I walked into the nearest one, sat in the pew, looked around, and said, OK, I am here. Now what?"

----------

This Labor Day weekend, I'm reminded of the words: "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few." One of those laborers is Vickie Smith. In this revisiting of episode 174, Vickie shares how saying yes to Our Lady set her on a path she never could have imagined—from battling relentless migraines to a life-changing encounter that brought both healing and mission. Today, her vibrant ministry continues to show how Mary always leads us to Jesus. Enjoy the podcast!

The Day God Fixed Ginny's Eyes - TBH 381 Aug 24, 2025

Show notes

The doctor said, "The vision in your bad eye has gone from 20/100 to 20/10. And the other eye has gone from 20/40 to 20/20." Stunned, he asked, "How did this happen?"

----------

I've known Ginny Pippin for nearly 20 years, but nothing prepared me for the story she shares in this episode.

While attending a training class at the Encounter School of Ministry, Ginny sat before the tabernacle as her classmates practiced prayers for inner and physical healing. One student, simply following a script, asked if she wanted prayer for anything else. Ginny quietly said, "Yes—my vision." What her classmate didn't know was that a botched cataract surgery had left Ginny with severely compromised eyesight.

In this episode, Ginny explains the dramatic moments that followed. This miracle is only part of Ginny's story. Years earlier, while teaching the Ignatian Exercises, she endured a dark night of the soul—believing there was no God. She shares the powerful moment that lifted her from that despair, and how the same God later restored her sight. Our God is still healing today. Enjoy the podcast!

Nature's Sermon from 130,000 Preaching, Buzzing, Honeybees - TBH 380 Aug 17, 2025

Show notes

"In my hives are nurse bees, worker bees, drones, the queen, funeral bees that cart out the dead, and guard bees, that make sure bees from other hives don't get in. No, I don't think this is all random."

----------

I've heard it said that nature is a silent sermon. If that's true, then my friend, Tom Kennish, has 130,000 preachers buzzing in his backyard. Tom's a beekeeper and his bees are as organized as the Vatican on Easter Sunday. Nurses, workers, foragers, guards, and even funeral bees, all doing their jobs without coffee breaks or union demands. In this episode, we talk about honeybees, monarch butterflies, ants, and the divine fingerprints you can see in creation—if you take the time to look. Nature is speaking… are we listening?

Angels in Disguise - TBH 379 Aug 10, 2025

Show notes

"So, this stranger walks up and flat out points his finger at me and asks, 'Are you looking for a wife?' then points his finger at the lady I had just met, and asks, 'Are you looking for a husband? …'cause there's something going on here.'"

----------

Hi! Trapper Jack here. Today… Four extraordinary encounters—each is a reminder that Heaven is closer than we think.

In revisiting episode 134, we open with Dave, a lonely truck driver who had cried out to God for a partner, only to meet a woman the very next day through a mysterious man… or was it an angel? The moment unfolded 30 years ago, during the height of the O.J. Simpson trial, and involved a look-alike straight from the news.

Tim shares how his guardian angel's voice cut through the noise of a bowling alley to save an 18-month-old from a deadly pin machine.

Catherine recalls an angel shielding her from a fatal crash, and Erin tells how God sent dream-messages assuring her He had everything in place. Enjoy the podcast!

Inside the Shroud: Pathologist John Judge's Story - TBH 378 Aug 03, 2025

Show notes

"It hit me, as I was looking at the blood of Jesus, this is something that just leaves you with a sense of awe! And I'm thinking, where do I fit in?"

----------

Hi, Trapper Jack, here! I just recently learned that one of my fellow parishioners at church, Dr. John Judge, is a pathologist who played a role in the last major investigation of the Shroud of Turin, believed by millions to be the burial cloth of Jesus Christ.

He actually examined the blood—type AB—up close!

How did he get selected for this once-in-a-lifetime study? What did he see? And what mysteries about the shroud still leave even the experts scratching their heads?

This is a fascinating, humbling conversation with someone who was on the front line to uncover whose body was wrapped in that ancient cloth.
