Their interviews with some of the most important people in automotive has put them on the map and they are as legit as they come. On top of that, for the last 5 years Ryan has been volunteering and writing up the vehicle descriptions as a contributing editor for the Colorado Grand, which is one of the premier car rallies in the world. He just got back from it, so as friends we decided to hop on and go 2 hours and discuss its prestige and why it has been so special the past 37 years.

What is going on everyone and welcome back to TT! This week, we celebrate 5 years of this podcast and I am excited to welcome Cole Walliser to the show.

Cole is well known throughout entertainment as the director of famous GlamBot. You will have seen it at almost every award show in Hollywood, it is awesome. But I bet you did not know that Cole is an enormous automotive enthusiast. We discuss his 91 Mercedes G Wagon 2 door diesel and he just picked up his new to him 992 GT3 6 speed this past holiday season. So yeah, his car credentials are pretty stout. We chat about where his love for cars started, the car culture he grew up in around Vancouver in BC, his love for the 458 and so much more. Plus we chat if his directing job and love for filmmaking affect his enjoyment of movie watching. It is a great conversation and I am so stoked we were able to make this happen.

Alex is known for his multiple adventures in the Cannonball world, his exceptional writing, eccentric car collection and as of late his consultancy in the world of autonomy. We have a fantastic discussion about how manufacturers actually used cannonball back in the day to appease the public on the automobile, why the E39 BMW M5 is the greatest sports sedan of all time, the story of his family escaping Europe in the second World War, and why Morgan is still fantastic as a brand to this day.

This was an amazing discussion with one of the most fascinating dudes in all of automotive media. I look forward to doing more episodes with Alex.

We discuss his cannonball run with Audi and Electrify America, his whale watching adventure with the G90 M5 Touring, going to Africa with his family for the safari trip of a life time, and so much more.

Jeff is the epitome of the last of a dying breed in automotive journalism. Which pains me to write that but at the same time makes me and should make us all strive for that level of adventure. It was awesome getting a chance to have a great conversation with a sensational storyteller and friend.
