    too much.

Emma’s always been told she’s, “too much” and now, she’s done apologizing for it. From NY to LA and back again, she’s lived a thousand lives and if there’s anything she’s learned, it’s to be unapologetically yourself. Every Tuesday, Emma is getting raw and real about everything from f*ckups and breakups, thriving (and surviving) in your 20s and 30s, how to be the best version of yourself and so much more. So grab a drink, because we’re going down the rabbit hole…

Your potential is your responsibility: The big update Oct 13, 2026
    Show notes

Well, this is one hell of a plot twist.

A year and a half ago, Emma walked away from a podcast she helped build, lost everything she had worked for, and started over from scratch. Today, she's announcing the biggest career milestone of her life.

In this very special episode of Too Much, Emma is taking you behind the scenes of how she turned one of the most devastating chapters of her life into her greatest comeback yet. From the fallout of Unhinged to an unexpected encounter on a date that changed the trajectory of her career, she's going down the rabbit hole about what it really takes to start over, bet on yourself, recognize opportunities, and become your own biggest advocate.

Because here's the thing: you can manifest, romanticize, and visualize your dream life all you want, but at some point, you've got to get off your a** and go after it.

This episode is for every woman who's ever been underestimated, told she's too much, or found herself starting over when she thought she had it all figured out. Turns out, the life you planned falling apart might just be the best thing that ever happened to you. And trust me, you're going to want to hear how this story ends.

Are you begging to feel seen? Oct 06, 2026
    Show notes

What if the reason you’re upset they ignored the TikTok you sent them… has absolutely nothing to do with the TikTok?

This week, we’re going down the rabbit hole of John and Julie Gottman's theory of the fundamental unit of emotional communication: bids for connection — the tiny, often invisible ways we ask the people we love to notice us, choose us. Emma gets into why seemingly insignificant moments can hurt so f*cking much, how repeated rejection can quietly create distance in relationships, and the difference between someone who simply doesn’t know how to love you the way you need — and someone who knows and still chooses not to.

From ignored texts and missed affection to one particularly painful relationship where breadcrumbs started feeling like a feast, this episode is about the little moments that tell us a whole lot about the people we love — and ourselves.

Plus, Spooky Season Series has OFFICIALLY entered the chat once again, with an audience ghost story to close out the episode.

Don’t pack an imaginary relationship in your carry-on Sep 29, 2026
    Show notes

Going on vacation with someone sounds romantic until the flight gets canceled, someone’s hangry, the credit card declines, you haven’t had a bowel movement in five days, and suddenly the person you’ve been dating becomes a full-blown mammal.

This week, Emma is going down the rabbit hole about why traveling with a partner — or someone you’ve known for approximately 19 business days — is one of the fastest ways to figure out what you’re actually working with. Because travel doesn’t necessarily change a relationship. It reveals it.

From booking a trip on a FIRST DATE (yes, you read that right) to romantic trips that exposed some very unromantic truths, Emma gets into traveling too soon, manufactured intimacy, vacation love bombing, money, conflict, compatibility, and the dangerous little fantasy of cosplaying marriage in a hotel room.

The question isn’t whether it’s “too soon” to take the trip. It’s what you’re making the trip mean. But in Emma's POV — the answer is usually, "fuck it. Book the trip. Just don’t pack an imaginary relationship in your carry-on."

When did we normalize bailing? Sep 22, 2026
    Show notes

When did “I don’t feel like it” become a good enough reason to stop showing up for the people we love? This week, Emma is going down the rabbit hole on one of her biggest pet peeves: bailing. The last-minute cancellations, the casual “sorry babe, can’t make it,” and the yes that apparently meant “I’ll decide how I feel that day.” Because somewhere between protecting our peace and honoring our boundaries, it appears we all forgot how to honor our word.

Emma gets vulnerable about why being bailed on can feel so much bigger than a canceled plan, dating back to her abandonment wounds and following her up until a couple weeks ago when half the group trip bailed. She unpacks the difference between giving someone grace and ignoring a pattern, and when it’s finally time to stop extending invitations to people who keep showing you they won’t show up.

Because relationships aren’t built on declarations — they’re built on evidence. And an honest no will always be better than an unreliable yes. So moral of the story — it's time to start showing the f*ck up.

You don’t have to be sad to be lonely Sep 15, 2026
    Show notes

What if you love your life…and you’re still lonely as fuck? Emma is the happiest, most confident and fulfilled she’s ever been. Her career is growing, her friendships are strong, she feels good about herself—and for once, there’s no man wreaking havoc in the background. But this week, Emma goes down the rabbit hole on the kind of loneliness nobody talks about: the kind that can coexist with happiness. From realizing she doesn’t miss her ex, she misses having a “Sunday person,” to questioning whether she’s actually lonely or just experiencing life without romantic distraction for the first time, she gets brutally honest about what happens when your standards become stronger than your fear of being alone.

If you’ve ever thought, “My life is really good, so why do I still feel lonely?” this one’s for you. You don’t have to pretend you don’t want love to prove you’re good at being single. Loneliness can visit your life without defining it.

ASK EMMA: I need someone who's already cooked Sep 08, 2026
    Show notes

Ask Emma is BACK, which means a simple listener question is about to become a full-blown existential crisis.

This week, Emma goes down the rabbit hole on dating fatigue, high standards vs. unrealistic expectations, and the question she hates admitting she’s asked herself: does she know too much about relationships to actually enjoy one?

She’s talking being single for years without settling, catching feelings for a guy friend, slowing down sex without killing the chemistry, whether she’d date a man less successful than her, when to stop inviting the friend who never shows up, and why healthy love can feel suspiciously boring after you’ve been conditioned to chaos.

Basically, if you’ve ever wondered whether you’re asking for too much, taking too long, moving too fast, choosing the wrong people, or becoming a little too self-aware for your own good — this one’s for you.

Stop asking “why me?” Sep 01, 2026
    Show notes

Sometimes I feel like looking around your life and saying “wow, I’m so lucky” feels like it skips over the entire plot. The heartbreak. The rejection. The failures. The people who screwed you over. The days you were convinced your life was falling apart… that were actually quietly redirecting it.

So in this episode, we’re rethinking gratitude entirely.

I’m tracing the dominoes of my own life — from breakups and betrayal to trauma, career setbacks and some truly questionable men—to show you how some of the best things in my life exist because of some of the worst things that ever happened to me. And why asking “why me?” might be keeping you stuck in a story you haven’t gotten far enough away from to understand yet.

Because your favorite part of your life might be downstream from the worst day of it.

Don’t count your blessings. Trace them.

It’s not who you know, it’s who remembers you Aug 25, 2026
    Show notes

Just curious — when did we get so comfortable with having the same friends, same dinners, same group chat dissecting the same man for the 47th time? And then wonder why we keep getting the same answers? Consider this your wake up call... at some point, you’re feeding the same information into the same machine and expecting a different output. And it's gotta stop.

This week, we’re going down the rabbit hole about why expanding your circle might be one of the most underrated ways to expand your life. Not social climbing, not collecting contacts and not ditching your longtime friends. We're talking about meeting new people, mixing friend groups, actually following up on the “we should get dinner” text, and realizing that new people bring new perspectives, opportunities, conversations — and sometimes entirely new versions of you.

Emma shares her six-month scroll strategy she's been unknowingly used for years, why she shamelessly keeps extending the invite, and how bringing complete strangers together has changed the way we think about networking, friendship and opportunity.

Because it’s not just about who you know. It’s about who remembers you.

I'd rather be single than settle Aug 18, 2026
    Show notes

Why are so many women staying single longer? Maybe because for the first time, we actually can.

This week, we’re going down the rabbit hole on why women are getting married later, how financial independence completely changed the dating market, the male loneliness epidemic, and why our parents’ generation cannot seem to comprehend that being single in your 30s is not a medical emergency. Because when you’ve already built a life you love, a man isn’t competing with other men — he’s competing with your peace.

We’re getting into the question every single woman has secretly asked herself: Are my standards too high, or have I just stopped accepting the bare minimum? Plus, Emma read your stories about marriage, kids, timelines and the pressure to “settle down” — and you guys made her bawl like a baby.

Maybe women aren’t behind on marriage. Maybe marriage just isn’t allowed to be ahead of our happiness anymore.

Why do we want the people who don't want us? Aug 11, 2026
    Show notes

Have you ever been completely obsessed with someone who was giving you the absolute bare minimum… then you end, a couple weeks go by and you think to yourself, “WTF was I thinking?” Same. And we need to talk about it.

This week, we’re going down the rabbit hole of rejection, validation, dating anxiety and the sneaky way your ego can turn romantic relationships into a competition where every text is a point, every delayed response is a loss and suddenly you’re fighting tooth and nail for someone you’re not even sure you like.

Emma is breaking down why rejection can make us want someone more, how to tell the difference between genuinely missing someone and just needing them to regret losing you, and the question that might save you from wasting six months trying to prove your worth to a person who was never aligned with the plot in the first place. Consider this your intervention: you need to stop asking, “How do I get them to choose me?” and start asking whether, it’s really them you want at all?
