But God's to-do list for depression isn't something he's commanding us to do; it's something he himself is getting done. Pastor Mike looks to a 3,000-year-old psalm to find how God is helping. Behind the Series: "Christmas Hype" Dec 03, 2020

Show notes

What does John the Baptist have to do with hip-hop artists and rappers from the '80s? Quite a lot, actually! Rappers needed their hype men to get people excited before they took the stage . . . John the Baptist prepared the way and was Jesus' hype man! Pastor Mike and Dr. Bruce Becker from the Time of Grace team dive into December's TV series, ""Christmas Hype."" As they discuss how John was preparing people for Jesus' coming, they also touch upon men's fashion (guess whether Pastor Mike or Bruce used to subscribe to GQ), not falling into the trap of comparison, and how COVID-19 may actually give us an opportunity to have an authentic Christmas. ""Christmas Hype,"" a three-part series, will air beginning December 13. Pastor Mike and Dr. Becker also discuss Dr. Becker's new book, "Prophecies and Fulfillment: God Is Still in Control." The book explores the amazing prophecies foretold and events God orchestrated to implement his plan to save the world through Christ.
