Youtube Blacklists Offensive Comedy and News Creator - The Youtube Purge Redux Apr 19, 2018

Show notes

Fullscreen, the multi channel network, has severed ties to several creators. The reason is unclear and I have verified that at least one of the channels is in perfect standing with no ToS violations. So why did Youtube force Fullscreen to drop these creators? Could this be the precursor to outright banning certain channels? SUPPORT JOURNALISM. Become a patron athttp://www.patreon.com/Timcast

Facebook Forced to Undo Ban On Conservative by Court Injunction Apr 16, 2018

Show notes

SUPPORT JOURNALISM. Become a patron athttp://www.patreon.com/Timcast Facebook recently suspended a user for calling Germans "stupid" and blamed left-wing media. They claimed this was in fact a violation of their hate speech policies, and yes directly attacking national origin is a violation. But a court recently filed an injunction saying that Facebook must unban the user and that they cannot delete his comment if he decides to post it again. What is most alarming here is that Facebook has determined that called Germans "stupid" is a bannable offence. What is next? Well, Facebook says it dreams of a future where hate speech is policed by artificial intelligence. Make sure to subscribe for more travel, news, opinion, and documentary with Tim Pool everyday.

Show notes

After a wave of attacks on mosques in Germany a post surfaced claiming that this was about fighting Fascism and was signed "Antifa international" It is Important to Note that the claim may be a fabrication but in this video I go over why I believe it is likely that those attacking mosques in Germany are actually aligned with Antifa and may be part of an international antifa activist network. With Trump's call for missile strikes in Syria and Russian warning of retaliation, could this be the beginning of a full scale war with Russia. Could it actually be the start of World War 3? Most people look at history from a condensed point of view. history books make us believe that war was declared overnight. In reality it is a long drawn out process of slow escalation. For all we know people will look back to today and say this is where it all began. Make sure to subscribe for more travel, news, opinion, and documentary with Tim Pool everyday.

The article says that a second civil war is inevitable and that we must takes sides because "one side must win." The article explained that bipartisan efforts must stop and that California is going to lead the path forward for the rest of the USA.But California recently proposed a bill that would require social media companies in CA to control for "fake news." But fake news is ill defined and there is no way these companies can actually combat "shitposts." This law will just create restrictions on free speech and do nothing to prevent fake news. If the article posted by Jack is accurate then we could actually face similar bills at the federal level in the future. Speech Crime: Woman Sent to Prison for Saying Racial Slur Apr 06, 2018

Show notes

SUPPORT JOURNALISM. Become a patron athttp://www.patreon.com/Timcast My Second Channel - https://www.youtube.com/timcastnews A woman in South Africa has been convicted of a speech crime and is being sent to prison. This stems from a viral video where the woman said the racial slur 48 times to police officers. In the UK two teenagers were arrested for yelling racist things outside of a college dorm. At what point should people be arrested for speech? At what point does speech become harassment? Many people say there is no threat to free speech or that there is no hampering of Campus Free speech, but perhaps that is not true.
