Last week we speculated that Sami Zayn’s WWE title reign was not long for this world– that it may end as soon as Friday Night Smackdown. It turns out that prediction was off by a few days; it actually ended on Monday Night RAW!

CM Punk returned to a raucous reaction in Chicago to win the WWE championship. What does this mean for SummerSlam? And where does Sami go from here?

The Main Event: Sheamus departs WWE

Sheamus has been a WWE mainstay for nearly two decades now. He's a multiple time world champion, tag champion, King of the Ring, Money in the Bank Winner, Royal Rumble winner and one IC Title short of being a grand slam champion. And now he's decided to leave WWE for the first time in his career.

The Three Count:

This weekend we’re ready to crown a brand new pair of royalty in WWE– it’s Night of Champions and the finale to the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments. These tournaments have not been effectively organized however; and no matter what happens or who wins, we have severe concerns.

The Main Event: The New Bloodline

Ever since Roman Reigns became a world champion once again, the latest chapter of the Bloodline has taken center stage once again. And if you love Roman and his family drama, that's great! But if you're aching for a change in the direction of WWE that is not so great.

The Three Count:

Danielle put over Lucha Underground’s (sort of) return.

Lindsey put over Cathy Kelley and (fka) Dakota Kai watching Love Actually on TikTok.

It’s a special bonus conversation in honor of the 3 day weekend; when Lindsey was gone, AAA had El Noche do Los Grandes! It was the blowoff mask vs. mask match the cemented Ludwig Kaiser’s popularity in Mexico as the new Americano, returned Chad Gable to his original self and is now a contender for match of the year.
