TID’s mission is to deliver safe and reliable irrigation water and power, and while all District departments are working towards this mission, there is one area of TID that is central to making these essential services happen – the Power Control Center. 24/7, 365, holidays, and weekends, the Power Control Center is managing our local power grid, monitoring irrigation flows, and more – ensuring reliability for our customers. And when an outage occurs, they’re the first to respond to assist in restoration.
