This weekend’s official visit list features some key recruiting targets in the back seven in linebacker Wesley Bissainthe, cornerback Khamauri Rogers, safety Markeith Williams, and striker JaCorey Thomas.

Can UM make a strong move with any of those targets?

The Hurricanes are also set to host a couple of defensive line targets in four-star Anthony Lucas and three-star Keahnist Thompson.

The busy recruiting month of June for this 2022 cycle continued this weekend with the Miami Hurricanes football program hosting 12 official visitors and campers at another Manny Diaz camp.

In the latest episode of ‘Through the Smoke’, Gaby Urrutia and David Lake break down everything you need to know coming out of the weekend.

Going into the visit, Miami was looking to make some moves at the receiver position with UM hosting four pass catchers not committed to the Hurricanes (three receivers and a tight end), along with quarterback commit Jacurri Brown and wide receiver commit Quan Lee.

Where do things stand with that bunch following the visit? Urrutia breaks it all down.

Miami also played host to a trio of offensive linemen and a five-star defensive tackle from the state of Texas. The ‘Through the Smoke’ crew break down where things stand at those line of scrimmage positions coming out of the official visit.

There was also plenty of competition and offers sent out from the Manny Diaz 7-on-7 and Big Man Camp on Sunday. Urrutia shares what you need to know there as well.

The Miami Hurricanes football program is set to host 12 official visitors this weekend, including one five-star prospect and five four-star prospects.

UM will particularly be looking to make a move with the three receivers that are visiting this weekend and Urrutia and Lake breakdown the dominoes that you need to know with those players and where Miami stands amongst those players and the teams involved.

Miami also hosted the top safety prospect in the country during the week and privately worked out one of the best edge rushers in the country as well. Lake and Urrutia share their thoughts on these developments.
