From the Murder Capital of the World to Faith, Family, and Homeschooling | Abraham Hamilton | Ep. 218 Oct 07, 2026
    Show notes

What does it take for a kid from one of America's most violent cities to become a trial attorney and a voice for biblical truth?

Zan Tyler sits down with attorney, radio host, and homeschool dad Abraham Hamilton III to revisit his New Orleans childhood, the parents whose faith and discipline anchored him at home, and the moment he gave his heart to Christ at age seven. Abe shares how a recruited basketball scholarship opened the door to college, how Hurricane Katrina rerouted his path through law school, and how an unexpected knock at his office door introduced him to the woman who would become his wife. Along the way, two encounters planted an early seed for homeschooling, long before Abe and Maria had children of their own. His story is a powerful reminder to give your children opportunities, pay attention to the seeds God is planting, and trust Him with the story He's writing.

Why Homeschool Kids Are Thriving (and a Town That Proved It) | Caleb Price | Ep. 217 Sep 30, 2026
    Show notes

Zan Tyler and Caleb Price talk about trading comparison for gratitude, celebrate a town that rallied behind a homeschool graduate, and share why homeschooling opens doors for our kids. Plus, Zan brings encouraging news from her travels: the homeschool movement is alive, growing, and thriving.

Is a clean house the key to a peaceful home? Zan Tyler and Caleb Price start with a viral reel that sparked hundreds of comments and talk about why gratitude, not comparison, is the secret to a joyful homeschool. (Zan also shares the funny story of being named South Carolina's Homemaker of the Year and her sister's unforgettable response.)

Then they celebrate some encouraging news: a Homeschool Law Enforcement Day in Reno that drew more than 500 families, and a Nebraska town that rallied behind a young homeschool graduate and volunteer firefighter so he could pursue his calling. Zan explains how parents can advocate for their high schoolers, why homeschool graduates are thriving in college, the military, and beyond, and where to turn for help if a barrier ever appears.

Finally, Zan shares highlights from her recent travels with Joe, from Oregon to the Reagan Presidential Library to national leadership conferences in Orlando, and why she believes the homeschool movement is alive, growing, and truly a "love your kids" movement.

Zan Tyler talks with this father of seven and co-host of the Culture Proof Podcast about discipleship, fatherhood, the growth of homeschooling in the Black community, and becoming more actively involved in his children’s education. Wil shares how simply asking his wife, “What can I do to help?” changed his role at home.
