Lisa Tozzi is the Digital Editor for Rolling Stone magazine, former of Buzzfeed, and before that The New York Times. As I learned on the show, even she can't believe it. Her first big story was the election of 2000. Remember that sh*tshow? She's covered huge story after huge story since. A friend of a friend, I was delighted when she agreed to come on the show and offer advice. We got along great and have a similar outlook on life. That is, you have to adapt as you go, and certainty is often the most uncertain thing of all. I always have fun doing This Might Help, but this episode really flew by. I call Billy a wild man because he's got that crazy southerner look in his eye onstage, but he's actually a down-to-earth normal guy who says crazy stuff onstage. I'm not sure when we met, but when we did we clicked right away. One reason I have so many comedian friends on the show (other than I know so many) is that they've lived a lot of lives. BWD has been on a road a long time, but had the sense to get his life in order, and is a good father to his kids. In my line of work, that's saying a lot. A warning: This episode went long. Another warning: It's hilarious and we got into, well, EVERYTHING. We even broke my kinda rule of "Don't talk current events," if you can believe it. Light this one up and pass it around, Mightys. Jason Shapiro is a comedy writer/performer who struck gold with a parody account of a fake day care in the hipster-affluent neighborhood of Los Feliz (Editor's note: I live there lol). Google "Los Feliz Day Care" right now and find his twitter and Instagram account for it. Glorious, very funny, and dead on. As he told me in this episode, the idea came when he was a writer's assistant. He learned that one of the writers, whose child went to a day care in LF, got a LETTER FOR SENDING THEIR CHILD WITH WHITE BREAD IN THEIR LUNCH. THEIR LUNCH! NOT ONE FOR THE OTHER PARENTS' KIDS! Lololololol. He took the idea and ran with it, and it's been going strong since 2014. A new father himself, the account has taken on a new meaning as he navigates parenthood in Los Angeles. It was fun getting to know him on TMH. And, as a special bonus, he came on the show as the founder of LFDC, dreadlock wig and all! He answered the calls both as himself and as his character. Kyle and I started out together in Chicago, driving around in his massive Grand Marquis through the snow to bomb in front of crowd after crowd. When it came time to move to LA, we did it together. And you know the rest. When I say you're in for a treat, I mean you're in for your very own wedding cake on this one. Once Kyle realized we didn't have to give very good advice we were off to the races. We caught up, riffed, gave horrible (maybe not) advice, and had a blast. You will too.

First off, it's pronounced Bow (as in "Bow down")-wee, not like David Bowie. I gotta say that right off the bat because no one pronounces my name right either. Also, we're both real actors, me and him. Lol! Actually, John is much more the real deal than I am, but hey, he might object. The cool thing about my biz is that everybody (who's not a dick) is like, "I can't do what you do!" to the thing they're not. Actors are like "I couldn't be a stand-up!" and stand-ups are like "How the hell do you memorize lines?" Anyway, we get along in the end. John is best known for his parts on Speechless and The Big Bang Theory, but has been on a ton of other stuff. This episode was really special because he did it from inside his car. Now, I'm not saying he's living in it and he's having family trouble, but you can (No, don't). This was a fun one, enjoy!
