The theme? HUMILITY.
Who or what comes to mind when you think of someone who has shown you great humility? Jesus was the most beautiful example of humility. Paul uses this letter to stress how the Believer should live.
This chapter also stresses the need to work out our salvation. What does this mean? Are works part of salvation? Join us as we break down this and the other verses of this great chapter.

In Philippians, Paul sets out to encourage the church in Philippi whom he shared the gospel 10 years prior. His letter, consisting of 4 chapters, is full of joy as he encourages the Church to work through their suffering with humility and their struggles with joy. Paul loved the people of Philippi and wants them to know how thankful he is for them.
We hope you will walk with us through this study as we pause to say "thanks to the Lord" for the great things He has done. Even in adversity, the gospel of Jesus Christ remains the main thing.
Is it the main thing in your life? That is the question we will be asking…are we laser-focused on our mission? Or are we sidetracked, focusing more on the things of this world? It's easy to take your eyes off of Christ.
There are so many distractions, certainly, 2020 has had its fair share. So, let's come together Church! These are great days!
Let's let our light shine!

And that's exactly what we did during this 21-day journey with our friend, Carmen Schroeder.
Joined by two other friends, Sara and Brandy, we launched into 21 days of parsing the Proverbs.
And it was an adventure.
A new Proverb every day, we took each word of a particular verse(s)and dissected it back to the original Hebrew (parse).
It was fascinating and so very meaningful.
We grew not only in our knowledge of scripture but in the discipline of studying the scripture.
It was such a meaningful pursuit and growth experiment. This episode is basically our little group sharing from our hearts all that this journey meant to us personally.
