In this quick segment, Witewolf and Yarddog interview Rad Chad Chavez, drummer for well-known Pantera cover band located in So Cal. Trendkill Revolution opened up the Pantera section of the Dimebag Tribute concert, DIMEBASH, January 24th. Bands on the Bill included Dave Grohl, King Devil Hill, Fireball Ministry and many more. That same weekend Rad Chavez explored NAMM. We got this phone interview as he stood outside of the Corrosion of Conformity concert.
Check out Trendkill Revolution if they come near you.
Luis Delgado - Vocals
Jason Chavez - Guitar
Kenny Lockwood - Bass
Rad Chad Chavez - Drums
Luis Delgado gargles with rusty nails before every show. His energy and power will simultaneously jump start your adrenaline and make your knees tremble.
Jason Chavez received a Masters in music from Dimebag University with an undergrad from John Petrucci Psycho school. He is working on updating his rig to the famous Killer Bee Amp which shoots killer bees into the audience at precisely the right time.
Kenny Lockwood exclusively plays the brown note with a fully cranked 7000 watt bass amp. Bring Pedialyte, Monster, or some similar electrolyte replacement beverage.
Rad Chad Chavez, a former auditioner for the blue man group, idolizes Animal from the muppets and enjoys In N Out Burger. He joined Trendkill Revolution when he was discovered at a truck stop, alone and scared, by his adoptive brother Jason Chavez. He was nourished with a boutique IPA and quickly jumped on a drum kit where he played Phil Collins' "In the Air Tonight" from the really badass drum part that Mike Tyson Air Drummed in Hangover. The rest is history.
