Hunter talks about how he would start preparing for the season once it hit the offseason. He talks about his training programs, how long he would relax before starting back up and is the saying "best shape of my life" actually a real thing. The guys talk about Giants C Buster Posey retiring and if Hunter found it surprising or shocking that he is hanging up the spikes while he is on top. The guys break down some of the free agent player rankings heading into free agency. They talk about some of the top young arms, some of the hall of fame type pitchers and some of the best infield options. And they give their pick of what team they think will make the biggest offseason splash.

    Tanking | Can it still work and how will it factor into the next CBA? Nov 17, 2021

    The Cubs and Astros famously used tanking to build World Series champions. Other teams have tried to tank with less success. Evan Drellich is joined by Cubs reporter Sahadev Sharma, Astros reporter Jake Kaplan and Orioles reporter Dan Connolly to discuss why it worked in Houston and Chicago, why it may not work in Baltimore and why it's a big issue in the current CBA negotiations.

    Before the roundtable, Eno Sarris joins the show to explain WAR and why it's not a great replacement tool for arbitration.
