Craig talks about his background and the bands he has played in throughout the New York scene. We talk about the success of Cold Wrecks second album 'This Could Be Okay' released last year, and what the band has coming up for 2020. Also in this episode, we find time to discuss forthcoming releases and new music from the likes of Spanish Love Songs, Hayley Williams, Anti-Flag, Mest and Thief Club. We also have a discussion about Emo-Rap and how we feel about this as a genre.

    Andrew Rapier (FELICITY) Dec 19, 2019

    For our final episode of the year, we are joined by FELICITY guitarist Andrew Rapier. Andrew talks about forming the band in Florida and how they have grown in such a short space of time. FELICITY had just opened up for Issues at a huge hometown show and Andrew tells us how that came about and what it was like. We were fascinated to hear what is was like when the band got to play the Warped Tour Cruise in 2017 (lots of cool stories). Andrew also tells us about what he thinks of the current UK scene. FELICITY have their first full length arriving in 2020.

    Marko DeSantis (Sugarcult) Dec 09, 2019

    This time we are joined by the legend that is Marko DeSantis, who is mostly know for being in Sugarcult. Marko tells us some amazing stories including rising to fame with Sugarcult and some of the big tours they were on such as Green Day in Japan and blink-182 in Europe. He also tells us about the time they spent with Ryan Reynolds and Tara Reid. We also spend time talking about his time playing in various bands in Santa Barbara and being in Bad Astronaut with Joey Cape.

    Peter Munters (Over It/Runner Runner) Nov 22, 2019

    After a bit of a break, we are back for our 33rd episode. This time we are joined by Peter Munters. Pete was the singer for the band Over It in the late 90s and early 2000s. Over It were a staple of the punk rock/Warped Tour scene and loved by many, we discuss the origins of the band and their rise to stardom. Pete tells us later on about how the band stopped and was reimagined as Runner Runner who were then signed to David Letterman's label. Lots of cool stories in this one, including when Pete filled in as frontman for his friends Yellowcard for a tour. A big thank you to Mr Munters for his time as this was technically our second chat with him (the audio for the first one got lost!).

    Kelly Ogden and Luis Cabezas (The Dollyrots) Sep 23, 2019

    We are joined by husband and wife, Luis Cabezas and Kelly Ogden, of The Dollyrots. They spoke to us after recently coming home from tour after releasing their recent studio album 'Daydream Explosion'. Kelly and Luis tell us what it is like raising two young children whilst also doing the band full time. We get to hear stories of when they were signed by Joan Jett as well as the differences between touring with The Buzzcocks and Bowling For Soup. Daydream Explosion was released on Wicked Cool Records which is owned by Steven Van Zandt of Bruce Sprinsteen's E Street Band. Kelly and Luis tell us about how Little Steven came across them and we speculate whether The Boss is a fan.

    This time we are joined by Tony Lovato, the singer of one of our all time favourite bands Mest. Tony was kind enough to give us a lot of his time in which we discuss his history in music and the early Mest years. We hear some crazy tour stories as well as what it was like working with John Feldmann so many times. Mest have a new album coming out soon where the original line up worked with Cameron Webb. Tony tells us lots about the new record and what making it was like.

    For our 30th episode, we are joined by Tom May of The Menzingers. Tom talks up through his musical journey from growing up in Pennsylvannia, the artists that influenced him and the first bands he formed. We discuss how The Menzingers' sound has evolved over the years and their rise to fame. Tom talks about his love for the UK and his many friends here. On the day of recording, the band had released the first single 'Anna' from their upcoming album. We get into what The Menzingers have planned for the coming months and what we can expect from the new record.

    'Anna' is out now on all streaming platforms, and the new album 'Hello Exile' is out October 4 via Epitaph Records.

    Kellin Quinn (Sleeping With Sirens) Jul 16, 2019

    Kellin Quinn, singer for the mighty Sleeping With Sirens joins us this time. We get the chance to hear about the music he grew up on and discuss our mutual love for Drive-Thru bands. Kellin talks about Sleeping With Sirens' journey and how they became the band they are today. We talk about the forthcoming new album 'How It Feels To Be Lost' and how they are in a really good place right now. We discuss Kellin's life outside of music and how he balances it with raising three kids. Aside from fronting his own band, Kellin also helps with Dreamer Development Group in exposing other up and coming artists such as Roseburg and Manic.

    Jason Tate (chorus.fm) Jul 03, 2019

    We are joined by Jason Tate, founder and owner of chorus.fm. Jason built absolutepunk.net in the early 2000s after his love for blink-182 and MxPx, the site grew and grew over the next few years and soon became a staple in the alternative music scene. In 2016 he successfully re-branded the site as 'chorus.fm' and it has maintain its popularity. Jason talks us through starting the site and it becoming a full time job as well as becoming friends with many of the artists that were covered.

    Max Collins (Eve 6/Fitness) Jun 25, 2019

    We had the pleasure of chatting with Max Collins, singer of Eve 6 and Fitness. Max talks us through his rise to fame in the late 90s at a very young age and what it was like at the time. He candidly tells us about those early arena tours with Third Eye Blind and the continued success of Eve 6. Max has just come of the 'Songs and Stories' tour with amongst other famous songwriters, Chris Collingwood of Fountains of Wayne. Max shares a crazy story about the launch party for Fountains of Wayne's first hit. Eve 6 can be found on tour still to this day, but Max has also been busy with his other band Fitness.

    'Karate' by Fitness is out now on all streaming platforms.

    Chris and Nick also discuss new releases by blink-182, whohurtyou and Sleeping With Sirens. They also review the forthcoming album 'Daydream Explosion' by The Dollyrots.
