Chiefs Start 0-2 After Loss To Eagles, Will Bears BENCH Caleb Williams? Colts & Cowboys Better Than Advertised, Brutal Loss For Broncos Sep 15, 2025

Show notes

Colin is joined by John Middlekauff, host of “3 and Out” to break down all the week 2 NFL action.

They start with the Eagles holding off the Chiefs 20-17 and Colin explains why the Eagles are one of the best teams he’s ever seen when it comes to getting a much needed yard and closing tight games, but it’s not time to hit the panic button for the Chiefs (3:30).

They recap the Lions absolute trouncing of the Bears and highlight why Caleb Williams has shown he can’t play in a timing offense despite having elite weapons and wonder if the Bears could pull the plug on him (8:45). They discuss a thrilling OT game between the Cowboys and Giants in which we got glimpses of the old Russell Wilson and argue that Dallas has been surprisingly better than predicted (26:30).

They highlight the Steelers offense as a more polished version of the Jets offense from last year and wonder if Aaron Rodgers will survive the full season behind a bad offensive line (38:15). They point to a huge statline from Mac Jones filling in for Brock Purdy and debate whether the 49ers could exceed expectations this season (50:15).

They give their takeaways from the Patriots win over the Dolphins, including Drake Maye needing another year and the Dolphins defense being arguably the worst in the league (56:15). They move to the Colts escaping the Broncos with a win, the resurrection of Daniel Jones and argue the Colts will be better than advertised (1:00:15). Despite the loss, Colin still believes Denver makes the playoffs and could win the division (1:04:00).

They recap the Rams win over the Titans and a huge game for Davante Adams and debate whether the Rams should be considered among the league's best teams (1:07:30).

Finally, they discuss Justin Fields leaving yet another game with an injury and why his athleticism and size won’t save him from his inability to read a defense and contrast that to Joe Burrow getting hurt behind a bad offensive line (1:14:00).
