John is joined by intern Jackson to discuss Marcus Freeman and his Notre Dame Fighting Irish defeating Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs by a score of 23-10 in the College Football Playoff’s Sugar Bowl from New Orleans, LA. Middlekauff tips his cap to Marcus Freeman, Riley Leonard and the red-hot Notre Dame Fighting Irish on the heels of their second playoff victory as the independent college football powerhouse tries to compete for a National Championship. The two go on to discuss Marcus Freeman’s incredible coaching job with the Irish, who earlier in the season lost a game to Northern Illinois, before wondering how legitimate the team’s title hopes REALLY are. John and Jackson break down Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs let-down performance in the Super Dome and dives into what it will take for Notre Dame to win it all with QB Riley Leonard and the running game leading the way. John and Jackson look ahead to Notre Dame and Penn State from an X’s and O’s perspective, looking at the Nittany Lions star QB Drew Allar, pass rusher Abdul Carter and James Franklin’s talented Penn State team. After, some thoughts on Alabama QB Jalen Milroe, Georgia Bulldogs signal-caller Carson Beck and several other NFL prospects ahead of April’s NFL Draft. Plus, how the rest of the College Football Playoff, featuring the Texas Longhorns vs. Ohio State Buckeyes, might shake out. Finally, the two chat about how to fix many of College Football’s current problems.
