Meet the most wonderful person to answer this question, Gina Harrow. Gina is the Executive Director of the Yellow Ribbon Fund (www.yellowribbonfund.org) and shares her personal story as an Army spouse and caregiver to her husband CPT Ben Harrow. Ben is a Green Beret who lost both legs to an IED in Afghanistan. Gina's story is sadly not unique but, her desire to support the families who are forced to become caregivers led her on an incredible journey to the YRF. Tim Colomer leveraged his strengths as a US Marine EOD technician and built a successful business owning a JDOG Junk Removal franchise. With admittedly no small business experience, his mastery of small unit leadership learned in the USMC proved to be a key ingredient in his success. Tim is as inspiring as he is gracious and his thoughts on maintaining a strong sense of military culture at JDOG are worth remembering.
