This fellow Long Islander also had a very special relationship with late brother, Tyler -- and so did Derek and other musicians. There's a lot of really meaningful stuff in this one. San Diego area based musician Piatt Pund tells me all about his life and music. He’s been playing classical violin since age four, and is also accomplished in the styles of bluegrass and jazz, and we get into all of it, including a discussion about OUR favorite guitar player, Derek Trucks -- and of course there's plenty of TTB talk too. Piatt even performs a couple of beautiful covers, of Midnight in Harlem, and Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire.

05. Tom Emmi Talks Producing The Kofi Burbridge Documentary May 05, 2020

Tom Emmi is the producer of the tribute documentary Lest We Forget: Kofi Burbridge, all about the late Kofi Burbridge, flautist and keyboardist. Tom himself is a TV producer and music producer, and produced Studio Jams, a music TV series that had quite a nice run on the BET Jazz network. And he’s always had a passion for music and we talk all about that, and of course about the very touching and entertaining documentary that honors Kofi.

David Flamm has been to over 50 live Tedeschi Trucks Band shows, and many of them with his wife Anne, who designs custom tshirts that they almost always wear to the shows. These shirts have song titles, lyrics, or really anything printed on them that has something to do with Tedeschi Trucks Band. 03. Sean Roche Talks Filming Tedeschi Trucks Band Shows Apr 18, 2020

Sean Roche has been to over 50 live Tedeschi Trucks Band shows, and has filmed countless amount of videos of them for his YouTube channel. Growing up about 60 miles north of NYC, his mom’s deadhead roots led him to the Grateful Dead and to all sorts music predominately from the 60’s and 70’s. Eventually though, Sean, a former church choir singer and child tuba player himself discovered Tedeschi Trucks Band, and he’s been hooked since.

02. Josh Brick Talks Shooting Photographs of Tedeschi Trucks Band Apr 18, 2020

Josh Brick is a Washington, DC area based graphic designer and photographer and just loves Tedeschi Trucks Band. He has seen them live between 60 and 70 times now, and has been taking photos of them for a while now as well. Derek Trucks with the Allman Brothers was his gateway to TTB, and lets just say the Warner Theatre in DC has more or less become a second home to Josh.
