86: Why the hospital has routines Nov 16, 2023
    Show notes

No, the hospital doesn't have routines in place to keep you and your baby safe. Those routines are for the hospital’s gain and in this episode I explain exactly how the hospital benefits from routines like electronic fetal monitoring, cervical checks, ultrasounds, etc.

    • How the hospital routines make moms high risk
    • The change from a 24 hour stay after birth to 48 hours
    • Providers being incentivized to do more cesareans
