They then shift gears to discuss how real the poor starts for the Clippers and Nets are and which team has a real reason to panic. They lead the show by discussing the Portland Trailblazers fast start, before discussing the San Antonio Spurs and why the new lottery system favors a team like the spurs. THey then discuss the Utah Jazz and what type of effect the Jazz can have on the playoff picture if they design not to tear it all the way down. Tyler leads off the western conference draft by picking a traditional little brother, while Zandrick debates whether or not to draft specific teams based on their vibes. They also discuss the ceiling of both the Minnesota Timberwolves and the New Orleans Pelicans -- and potentially drastically underrate the Memphis Grizzlies.

Zandrick looks to defend his title as the guys start with the eastern conference this week and Zandrick leads off the dradft with a controversial pick. They discuss some tanking teams as the 2023 draft looks strong and then discuss some over/unders and whcih teams may be over valued and undervalued in what is shaping up to be a tough eastern conference.

They begin by talking about Cleveland's side of the deal and how Donovan Mitchell fits in with the Cavaliers young core + if he's going to need to change how he plays to make the Cav's bet pay off in the end. They shift to the western conference to discuss the Utah Jazz tearing it down and what to make of the return of the Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell deals in terms of players that are under contract. They quickly discuss the rest of the players on the Jazz roster, noting that the Jazz are likely not done dealing before they shift to discuss the Lions coaching staff in Hard Knocks and if a player heavy staff would work in the NBA.

Then they shift to the Western Conference and debate the Mavericks vs. the Nuggets and how the clippers are a surprising favorite.
