Sharon Gaskin is the founder of The Trainers Training Company – helping freelance trainers to create and grow successful businesses.

Following a spell in corporate life she went freelance in 2002.

In 2009, she wrote an ebook called How to Launch a Training Business in 30 Days. She didn't believe anyone would pay for it – they did – and The Trainers Training Company was born. Great timing as her son Ryan was heavily involved in junior tennis and needed ferrying around!

A year later she launched her community, Trainer Talk, to provide a safe space for freelance trainers to grow their business. A place where people get who they are, what they are trying to do and the problems they face.

Her business continues to evolve as do her offerings ranging now from her Opportunity Alert service, to her 1-2-1 Coaching, Transformers Mastermind and her Complete Trainer Programme.

Sharon lives in South Wales and loves walking her cocker spaniel Lilly on the lovely sandy beaches and countryside. Otherwise, she's hitting the gym, doing another course, engrossed in reading, or watching her favourite tennis champion, Rafa Nadal!

Dr. Ruth Gotian is the Chief Learning Officer and Assistant Professor of Education in Anesthesiology and former founding Assistant Dean of Mentoring and Executive Director of the Mentoring Academy at Weill Cornell Medicine. She has been hailed by the journal Nature and Columbia University as an expert in mentorship and leadership development.

In 2021, she was selected as one of 30 people worldwide to be named to the Thinkers50 Radar List, dubbed the Oscars of management thinking, and recently won the Thinkers50 Distinguished Achievement "Radar" Award ranking her the #1 emerging management thinker in the world to bridge theory and practice. She is also a semi-finalist for the Forbes 50 Over 50 list.

In addition to publishing in academic journals, she is a contributor to Forbes and Psychology Today where she writes about 'optimizing success'. Her research is about the mindset and skill set of peak performers, including Nobel laureates, astronauts, and Olympic champions, which she writes about in her book, The Success Factor.
