Season 16, Episode 132 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing the recent transactions made by the Pittsburgh Steelers. We speculate the seriousness of the recent injury sustained by DB Daequan Hardy that landed in on the Reserve/Injured list on Tuesday and how TE Joaquin Bell now fits back on the offseason roster since he was re-signed.

With the recent speculation and rumblings related to QB Aaron Rodgers possibly landing with the Arizona Cardinals this offseason in lieu of him re-signing with the Steelers, Alex and I go over that topic. We address what a Cardinals beat writer had to say on Tuesday about that possibility and also quickly go over what new Arizona HC Mike LaFleur had to say about Rodgers during his recent interview with Jim Rome.

In the middle of this Wednesday show, Alex and I conduct our annual post-draft roundtable session with several of the sites draft content contributors. This means that we are joined Wednesday morning by Ross McCorkle, Joe Clark, Josh Carney, Tom Mead, Jake Brockhoff, and Ryan Paglia as we look to get more extended thoughts from each on each of the 10 selections that the Steelers made during the 2026 NFL Draft.

Later in this show, Alex gives his thoughts on rookie UDFA TE Chamon Metayer out of Arizona State now that he has completed his tape review of him. Alex and I also discuss my recent post on Steelers OLB Nick Herbig as it relates to his offseason market value and whether he should bet on himself in 2026.

Season 16, Episode 131 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing the expectations for the annual releasing of the regular season schedule and how we might be waiting two more weeks for that event to transpire.

Alex has recently completed profiles on two of the undrafted free agents recently signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers, K Laith Marjan and DT Kevin Jobity Jr., so on the heels of those being published, we discuss what he learned about both players.

Now that we have fully looked at and learned a lot about each of the members of the Steelers 2026 draft class, Alex and I give our expectations for each player when it comes to their rookie seasons. We spend a lot of time talking about QB Drew Allar and KR/WR Kaden Wetjen during this segment as well.

With there being a lot of talk right now about the Steelers potentially signing OLB Nick Herbig to a contract extension this offseason, Alex and I discuss how it might be in his best interest to bet on himself in 2026. We look at a few comparable players and contracts related to Herbig at this point in the offseason as we attempt to find a target market price for him that he and the Steelers might be willing to move forward with in the coming weeks and months.

Season 16, Episode 130 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing the Pittsburgh Steelers and their decision to not pick up the fifth-year option on OT Broderick Jones this offseason. We also discuss whether that decision would have been different had Jones not gotten injured last season.

Steelers WR Roman Wilson is reportedly changing his jersey number this offseason, so Alex and I go over that news in addition to a few other number changes that have apparently been made so far this offseason.

In the middle of this show, Alex and I go over the latest salary cap update for the Steelers on the heels of the team's draft haul and the unrestricted free agent tendering of QB Aaron Rodgers. We also discuss the effective future salary cap space the Steelers now have and if the team will ultimately need to restructure a contract or two later in the offseason.

With the annual NFL draft now behind us, Alex and I discuss the loud consensus draft board discussions going on right now. Is the consensus board a real thing? Who says so and what evidence is there that most NFL teams use it? We attempt to address those questions.

Alex and I also discuss the Steelers and their need to start drafting and developing better, as evidenced by the team's top 10 cash earners for 2026 as of May 1.

Steelers HC Mike McCarthy has had a few radio interviews since the draft has ended so we highlight a few of the notable things that he said during a few of them.

Is new Steelers RB/WR Eli Heidenreich indeed the team's best seventh-round draft pick of all-time? Steelers team president Art Rooney II sure seemed to indicate that during a recent television interview, so we discuss what he had to say about the Navy product much later in this show.
