Renata shares her passion for simple, healthy and delicious recipes by teaching private and small group cooking classes. These hands-on lessons are highly customizable, and are suitable for everyone from young professionals to working mothers. A graduate of the University of Canterbury, Renata lives in Texas with her husband, daughter, twin boys and lovable Labrador. Josephine Cruz aka JAYEMKAYEM is a DJ, a music writer and a record label manager. She has been living in Toronto for three and a half years now. Her main reason for moving from Calgary to Toronto was to work in the music industry. For years, Josephine has played at venues all over North America, opening sets for Playboi Carti at Montreal’s Apartment 200 and spinning alongside SOSUPERSAM at Echoplex in Los Angeles. Her eclectic style of Hip Hop and R&B to Grime and UK Garage has brought people to the dance floor night after night. Before that, Josephine was working in marketing. Josephine shares how she was able to trust herself and her abilities to live a more authentic and truthful life doing what she loves instead of living for other people's definition of success. Her parent company, Grace Lanuza Brand Strategy + Consulting Group, houses three subsidiaries; Brand Apiary (branding and digital marketing), Clickruit (employment branding, training & curriculum development) and Pelota (influencer and sports sponsorship brokerage). The companies have offices in Vancouver, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. Her work has been featured on numerous press outlets, such as Business Insider and is featured as an official partner on the AMA Feed. Mentorship, especially for women is an important part of Grace’s volunteer sphere. She’s currently serving as a Mentor for Young Women In Business – both SFU and UBC Chapters and the Forum For Women Entrepreneurs (FWE).
