Antoinette Candia-Bailey was the vice president of student affairs at Lincoln University of Missouri, an HBCU in Jefferson City, and recently committed suicide after struggling with her mental health and allegedly being bullied at work.

Black women have become the walking dead because of the heavy internal load that we carry. Our hearts are often broken at home and at work.
