Ep. 4: Can Everyone Do SuperHuman Acrobatic Feats? Yuri Marmerstein Tells Us How Feb 17, 2015
    Show notes

We interview Yuri Marmerstein, an acrobat and gymnast who has made a name for himself as one of the authorities on hand balancing. Yuri's feats, which you can see in the video below, are absolutely superhuman, but what's more impressive is that despite spending some time training with some of the greats, Yuri is largely self taught, and is teaching people all over the world to perform these seemingly superhuman feats by themselves. What he offers, then, is a very unique perspective on learning incredible acrobatic and physical feats from someone who was not born into it, and who hasn't trained since the age of 4, like most of the elite gymnasts you may have seen. This interview is very technical and nerdy, and we go very deep into some of the skills and the path to learning them. But, if you've ever dreamed of standing on one hand, doing double backflips, or any other seemingly superhuman gymnastic skills, you'll find the interview to be really fascinating and encouraging!

Dr. Anthony is a fellow instructor on Udemy, and he has been a friend of mine since I originally appeared on his highly-rated podcast, the Magnetic Memory Method. Anthony's innovations in the field of mnemonics help him teach people all over the world how to exceed in academics, learn languages, memorize poetry, and a whole host of other amazing skills. And now, I'm very excited to introduce you to Dr. Anthony Metivier.

Ep. 2: Erwan Le Corre on Natural Movement, Paleo Fitness, and Modern Lifestyles Feb 03, 2015
    Show notes

An absolutely awesome chat with Erwan Le Corre, the founder of "MovNat." MovNat is an unconventional school of physical training emphasizing a broader understanding of human movement and health. The point of all this is of course to improve strength, mobility, agility, and just about every physical performance attribute you can think of. Throughout the interview, though, we went far beyond physical performance, and started to tackle some of the big questions about modern lifestyles, happiness, and the future of human wellbeing.

Ep. 1: Accelerated Learning, Speed Reading, & How Anyone Can Become a SuperLearner with Prof. Anna & Dr. Lev Goldentouch Jan 27, 2015
    Show notes

In this episode, I host Professor Anna and Dr. Lev Goldentouch, my co-instructors in our bestselling online course. Their combined backgrounds in both psychology and information theory are the basis of the methodology for training what I would later brand "SuperLearners," and together the three of us have taught tens of thousands of people to read, learn, and memorize information at a rate of about 3X.
