After a complete dud in the season kickoff Thursday night-er, fantasy players find themselves chasing the points that Matt Ryan, Nick Foles, Devonta Freeman, Corey Clement, Mohammed Sanu and Mike Wallace failed to score. The gang breaks down the rest of the Week 1 matchups from a superflex perspective, with start/sit grades on all 30 starting quarterbacks, as well as some green/yellow/red light rankings on select players at the other positions. In this week’s “Decision-Makers,” Travis and James make their case for two high-end starting QBs in Week 1; two great starting QB options with nice matchups, so who is the better start? The NFL is back! Week 1 kicks off in two short days, fantasy drafts are complete and waivers are about to run for the first time in 2018 for most leagues. The SuperFlex SuperFriends are ready to work the wire, identifying players who are under-owned in superflex leagues and should be added while they’re still available. In fact, in a new segment called “Next Week This Week,” the guys are diving deep and finding six players who will be waiver priorities NEXT week, who can be claimed for the minimum now... a week before their cost skyrockets! The ultimate peril of the fantasy analyst is failing to adjust expectations as situations change. The SuperFlex SuperFriends are out to prove their willingness to adjust with a SuperSix to identify the players who have changed the gang’s minds. Six players per cohost; three who have changed their minds positively, and three who have changed their minds negatively. But it’s also important to note the calls they made 6 months ago that haven’t changed, so the guys also identify their top 6 calls that remain unchanged (three positive, three negative). SuperFlex SuperShow 53 - The Art(ificial Intelligence) of Drafting Aug 23, 2018

It’s a Super-Sized SuperShow, extra long and action-packed as the SuperFlex SuperFriends run a 16-round mock draft in real time! Full PPR and superflex redraft, with 12 teams all drafting independently, and the guys cover both corners and the middle of the draft… and let the computer do the rest! John prepares for the robot takeover that seemingly starts with this mock draft, and he tries to resist the urge to overdraft quarterbacks, as he tends to do in dynasty leagues. Travis wrestles with the enviable decision of picking first overall, only to watch his top 2018 players regularly go off the board mere seconds before his next pick; can he build a contending roster while tilting all over his vertical axis? And James inadvertently tries a zero-RB approach, only to run into a bout with cataclysmic homerism. Who can overcome their psychoses and build the best superflex roster for the 2018 season? With the NFL season on the verge of kicking off and most dynasty startup drafts complete, the SuperFriends shift their focus to redraft and get ready to attack the 2018 season. James “The Brain” is in the basement, but Travis and John illustrate the difference between dynasty and redraft in their own player evaluations. Six players they like better in redraft than dynasty, and six players they like better in dynasty than redraft. Three quarterbacks on new teams enter into the discussion, along with the rookie class at three main positions. Plus, Julio Jones and David Njoku make appearances, and the elite group of running backs dominate in one-year increments! All that and more on this week’s transitional episode!
