He told a story about what this music has meant across the different seasons of his life — the highs, the hard moments, the adventures, the friendships, and the memories that came from simply showing up to hear the music live.
He talked about how concerts can become so much more than concerts. They can help us grow. They can connect us with people we never would have met otherwise. They can give us a place to process grief, celebrate life, take chances, and sometimes even head to a show alone and come home with a whole new story.
