EVA MILLARD APPREHENDED BY US MARSHALS SERVICE!!!!!!!! Mar 08, 2023

On February 15th, 2023, after a year on the run, Eva Millard was apprehended in California by US Marshals Service. Eva was then taken into custody at the San Louis Obispo Sheriff's Office detention center. Eva then had an extradition hearing in California where she waived extradition agreeing to be extradited back to Arkansas. Eva Millard was extradited back to Arkansas on March 2nd, 2023. She is currently in the custody of Sebastian County Sheriff's office awaiting her first appearance in Crawford County.
Congratulations besties, we did it! But the fight has only just begun..

SHREEVE: Billy Turnbough Private Investigator & Retired Law Enforcement Dec 19, 2022

On this episode you will be introduced to Billy Turnbough. Billy is a retired law enforcement officer who worked as a detective, including in homicide. Billy worked in the Criminal Investigation Division of the Springdale, Arkansas police department from '98-'11, he was then a traffic collision investigator from '11-'13 & in the midst of that started his on Private investigation firm in 2012. Billy left law enforcement to join the private sector of investigating & for the past ten years has been a private investigator working to help discover the truth in more cases including homicide cases like Shreeve, which he worked on. Billy was hired by the Shreeve defense team to help review evidence & the investigative tactics used by the Van Buren Police department in the homicide of Olivia Soto & arrest of Jordan Shreeve.

SHREEVE: The Swabs Oct 21, 2022

According to the Van Buren, Arkansas police department's incident reports for November 8, 2018, officer Wesley Marsh identified 4 locations in the home that contained possible blood evidence. Officer Johnathan Wear then collected swabs from two of those four locations. Yet, somehow, there are more swab entries in evidence than swabs admitted to be collected on the 8th. On this episode SoJo, Chad Atwell, & Laura Carwile discuss the swabs that were collected from the Olivia Soto homicide crime scene November 8, 2018 & issues surrounding them.

SHREEVE: Fabric From Couch Oct 09, 2022

On this episode SoJo, Laura Carwile & Chad Atwell will be discussing the couch, as well as the cutting from the couch cushion, that was taken into evidence for the homicide investigation of Olivia Soto on November 8, 2018. If you remember, from the interrogation tapes, Eva Millard mentions, multiple times, Olivia being placed on the couch. Eva Millard changed her version of who put Olivia on the couch & why numerous times. However, Jordan mentioned during his interrogation tapes that he noticed blood already on the couch when he approached Eva holding Olivia near the couch. If Jordan saw blood already on the couch when he approached it, that means only one thing, Olivia had been placed on that couch before he ever arrived back home to 2210 Granite Circle on November 8, 2018. This piece of evidence will also come back up during our Serology discussion's in upcoming episodes.

SHREEVE: The Secret Tapes (#3) Aug 20, 2022

On this episode you will hear the third installment of the secret tapes! These tapes were recorded by Deb Shreeve during conversations with Eva Millard. In this tape you will hear Eva talk about her version of events for the morning of November 8, 2018. This tape was the moment that Deb realized, in her opinion, that Eva was guilty.
You will also hear Eva discuss allegations of prior abuse made against her, injuries on Olivia that also, allegedly, happened as a result of falling out of the pack and play.
Eva also says she blames Jose, Olivia's biological father, for Olivia's death since he didn't but Olivia a new bed... projecting blame on everyone else.
As much you will want to comfort the baby whining in the first part of this audio... imagine how hard it was for Deb to hold composure throughout the capture of these tapes.

SHREEVE: The Phone Call With Pam (November 8th 2018) Aug 05, 2022

There is zero evidence, circumstantial or otherwise, that so much as suggest that Jordan Shreeve had anything to do with the death of Olivia Soto. However, there are two things that people tend to get hung up on when they first hear about this case. The first thing is that Jordan left to take Billy home after calling 911. The second thing is that Jordan spoke to his ex wife Pam on the phone while on his way back to the house. Neither of these two things have anything to do with who killed Olivia Soto but they are two things that some people struggle to get past.
Jordan explained his reasoning for taking Billy home. I'm not saying that you or I would have done that but in the context Jordan explained it I think that he has more than rationalized that thought process. As far as the phone call goes, I think once you all hear the circumstances that lead up to that phone call, as well as the context of that phone call, it will help you to understand that call. Hopefully, it will help those of you who are still stuck on this call to finally let it go.
On this episode you will be hearing directly from Pam, Jordan's ex wife, as she explains not only the infamous phone call but the circumstances which lead up to that call.

After hours of being questioned at the Van Buren, Arkansas police department on November 8th 2018 Patti Stroud with the sheriff's office brings Eva her phone & allows her to call her adoptive mother Connie Rosenthawl.
What you're about to hear is that phone call.
NOTE:

Connie would not allow Eva to stay with her because she had foster kids in the home.
It's been over 7 hours & still no one has done a death notification to the Soto family.

(3) Detective Marsh responds to Jordan's request to call his mother with "were deciding what to do about that"... let me remind you that Jordan was not under arrest. He has the right to make any, or any many, phone calls as he wished to make just like he had the right to get up & leave - though it's clear he didn't know that.

SHREEVE: The Van Buren PD Summaries of Interrogations (November 8th 2018) Jul 12, 2022

On this episode I will be reading for you all directly from Van Buren Police Department's official records. Detective Marsh as well as Detective / Sargent Perry wrote summaries describing the interrogations of Jordan Shreeve & Eva Millard conducted on November 8th 2018 following the discovery of Olivia's body. Reading directly from official police records allows you to hear, from the words of the detectives on this case, what they had to say about the interrogations & what they put down for the official records.
Now... we could debate the accuracy of their version of events.. or the inaccuracy of them... but instead we want you to hear the interrogation tapes for yourself! Let you hear word for word what really happened in those interrogation rooms! After this episode, the next several episodes will be Jordan Shreeve & Eva Millard's interrogation tapes. The tapes will be played, in their entirety, with the exception of dead time (no questions being asked / just sitting in the room) which will be noted on the audio as well as the official transcripts.

SHREEVE: Crime Scene Log & Police On The Scene (November 8th 2018) Jul 07, 2022

In episode two we will be going over who arrived on the scene, when they arrived, what they claimed to have done, & when they left. I will be reading directly from the Van Buren Police Department Incident Reports written by each officer that arrived on the scene.
Documents used to produce this episode: Van Buren Police Department CAD Notes (Dispatch Notes), Van Buren Police Department Incident Reports from each individual officer on the scene, Coroner Report by Deputy Coroner Steve Edwards.
JUST SOJO KNOW EPISODE NOTES:

Out of 16 people on the crime scene log ( 6 officers, 3 fire fighter, 2 EMS, 2 Prosecutors, & 3 Coroners) there is no body cam footage from this day.
The CAD Notes (Dispatch records) do not show all three calls made & even show Jordan's second call as being on file at 12:21pm which is not possible seeing as officer Decroo claims to have been on the scene at 12:20.
Officer Decroo describes Eva Millard as "not crying but seemed distraught" whereas officer Wooten described Eva Millard as "in a state of near hysteria".
Officer Decroo says he overhead Eva Millard say "she must have tried to climb out of her bassinet/pack and play that was at the foot of the bed and fallen out". Officer Wooten stated that Eva Millard told him "she must have crawled out of the play pen where she sleeps and hit her head. She re-interated several times that the child had a history of climbing out of the play pen."
Eva Millard told officer Wooten "she last saw her (Olivia) around 4:00am" but then changes her story & told officer Wooten that "baby had been sick and kept them up all night long" & then again mentions "finally got her to sleep around 4:00am."
Officer Decroo states "I could hear the mother getting loud and crying in the living room as CPL Wooten" where as Officer Wooten states "I took her to the kitchen area of the house and had her sit down and collected her information."
The Crime Scene Log on file with Van Buren Police has Deputy Coroner Steve Edwards arriving on scene at 2:17 & leaving the scene at 3:17. Deputy Coroner Steve Edwards Coroner Report he has himself arriving on the scene at 2:10 & leaving the scene at 4:08 which we know is also incorrect as EXIF DATE on images taken by Steve Edwards & Detective Marsh show they were still photographing Olivia's body on the scene at 4:09. Meaning they would of had to finish bagging the body, wrapping up the crime scene, etc.
NOTE that the blood evidence described by officers is also inaccurate. Officer Decroo states "noticed more blood pooled on the seat of the couch and in the hallway." There is, in fact, no blood "pooled" on the couch, however, there are two blood stains on the couch. The blood "in the hallway" is also one drop of blood that was smeared.
NOTE that on Deputy Coroner Steve Edwards report he listed a core body temp for Olivia's body stating that temperature to be "83.5" however, there is no picture of the core body temp or the liver temp in evidence at all.

SHREEVE: Special Introduction Jun 29, 2022

This episode is the introduction episode to season two of The SoJo Files titled Shreeve. However, you wont be hearing from me or Chad in this episode!
This is a special introduction & who better to kick off season two, introducing the case, then Jordan Shreeve himself. As you can imagine, no one wants to relive the worst moments of the life. However, as Jordan told me, "I don't want anyone else to go through what I went through". That requires Jordan, as well as his family, & other lives affected by this tragedy to have to relive this tragic time in their lives.
This is the first time Jordan has ever spoken publicly about his case.
Jordan will be reading a quick summary about some of the many things he experienced during this time, a brief overview of that morning, & then will he will address you, the listener, directly.
Jordan mentions in his intro that he wanted you to hear from him first, the person who's case is the focus of season two. I think this is great! As a true crime fan myself, I think people often times lose sight of the fact that these cases involve real people & their real lives - something we all need a reminder of.

Defense Request Continuance For Sentencing Mar 19, 2022

The defense in Josh Duggar's case has requested a 30 day continuance for the currently scheduled April 5th 2022 sentencing hearing. The defense is citing issues scheduling meetings with their client due to Covid 19 protocols at the detention center as well as scheduling conflicts with other cases while also admitting that they can be in court for the currently scheduled day.
Since I obtained Josh's phone & video visitation logs from the detention center I know that he uses the f*** out of that jail phone & visitation machine sooooooo.... it paints a very different picture of how hard it is to get in contact with their client but I digress... Just another day in the Duggar Dumpster Fire folks....
NOTE that I do think he will, in fact, be granted the extension I’m just being petty about how much access he has to phone & virtual video meetings so I think it’s BS. Again, I fully expect this extension to be granted. They typically will grant this in federal court & another indicator is that the prosecution said they would defer to the court on this decision ( aka whatever the judge says they're fine with) so those are two pretty strong indicators that strongly suggest you should prepare for this extension to be granted.

As you all know, the verdict for the Josh Duggar trial came in yesterday! Some of yall thought I was going to leave yall hanging & not cover past day three! WTF?? I didn't sit there all day everyday for 9 days to not finish this out! There simply just wasn't enough hours in the day & we are going to cover this RIGHT not HALF ASS!
This episode is going to be discussing the supplemental briefs ordered by Judge Brooks at the November 29th pretrial hearing concerning the prior accusations of child molestation. Since that evidence will be discussed in my trial coverage for day four I wanted to make sure we covered this first!

This is the rest of the official first day of the Josh Duggar trial (technically the first day was jury selection but this was first day in the court room)! This episode will start with witness Special Agent Amber Kalmer & then finish with the first part of Special Agent Faulkners testimony!

This trial is on two federal counts of child pornography. Some might consider this harsh but I would argue its the honest & raw coverage much needed in a click bait society.
