Episode 75: Justin Leveille - "Last Resort" Stan, Snowboard Journalist Feb 13, 2019
    Show notes

You may know him as Justin, Stan, J-Money the Mountain Man, or the guy from that show, Last Resort. Once described as a "snowboard journalist" by this very publication, Justin, or Stan, as he is more commonly known, has long been the sole flag bearer on his crusade to critique snowboarding with comedy. His show provides a rare perspective not otherwise found in snowboarding, and his opinions, while pointed, are well refined and refreshing. His ability to process his surroundings and scrutinize their reality has allowed him to carve out a niche in the media landscape not previously explored, and as such, it felt like due time for an interview. We invite you to continue below as we attempt to peel off the film surrounding the man with two names. - Owen Ringwall

Episode 72: Iztok Sumatic - Olympic / World Cup Judge Feb 06, 2019
    Show notes

"I was born in 1976 in Maribor, Slovenia. I fell in love with skateboarding in 1989 after seeing movie Trashin'. Luckily my aunt went to USA that year and brought me a Valterra skateboard. Since then skateboarding defined my life and my character. It gave me bunch of good friends at home and around the world. It gave me Fugazi, Beastie Boys, Bad Religion, Primus and plenty more. Since there was no way I could become a pro I started earning a buck by selling skate and snowboard stuff, which my friend (and the best Slovenian skater) Marko Jazbinsek was smuggling from Italy. When the wild era was over I became a skateshop manager in my hometown for almost 3 years. After that I worked as a Snowboard coach for 18 years. Nowadays I still enjoy skating, snowboarding, and working in the action sports on various fields such as emceeing, organizing, judging, riding, filming, taking pictures, athlete management, partying… you name it I got it… I am like Macgyver dude ;)" - Iztok
