    The Supreme County denies the GOP's effort to block the certification of Pennsylvania's election results.

    The United States has topped 15 million covid-19 cases, which adds to the 1.4 million cases from the first week of December alone. There has been 285,000 deaths in the United States from coronavirus. The FDA review confirms that the Pfizer vaccine is safe and effective ahead of its expected authorization this week.

    United States President-elect Joe Biden has introduced his health team and vows that the members of that team will be "ready on day one" of Biden's presidency to fight the coronavirus pandemic. Biden is going to nominate retired General Lloyd Austin as his defense secretary.

    Wolf Blitzer has a one-on-one with the Assistant Secretary for Health Admiral Brett Giroir. Giroir talks about the first vaccines being administered. in the United Kingdom, while Trump signs an executive order that prioritizes Americans for the coronavirus vaccines. Giroir says that they are "incredibly concerned" about the spread of the coronavirus.

    There is a showdown happening in regards to the vote on the defense spending bill and Trump is threatening to veto the bill. Lawmakers are also negotiating on a possible stimulus bill.

    U.S. Coronavirus Death Toll Tops 283,000 and 14.8 Million Cases Dec 08, 2020

    The United States' coronavirus death toll tops 283,000 and 14.8 million cases. On average, more than 2,200 Americans are dying daily from covid. The United States sees one million new cases of coronavirus in the first five days of December. The Pfizer vaccine could be available this week after a FDA meeting. CNN reports that the first vaccine shipments will fall short of what 27 states need to vaccinate frontline healthcare workers and the elderly. Fauci says that even once someone is vaccinated, that they still may spread the virus.

    Fauci says that the United States hasn't seen the "full brunt" of Thanksgiving surge and says that, "the middle of January could be a really dark time for us." United States President-elect Joe Biden announces health team including HHS secretary, CDC director and Fauci was announced as the chief adviser on covid-19. Biden says that he plans to name the attorney general this week and he also plans to name the defense secretary on Friday.

    Millions of people are under a stay at home order in California as hospitalizations hit 10,000. New York City may close its indoor dining if hospitalizations rates don't stabilize.

    CNN reports that the house conservatives are urging Trump not to concede and press for a floor fight over election loss.

    Trump Releases Rambling Video Repeating Lies About Election Fraud Dec 03, 2020

    President-elect Joe Biden met with workers and small business owners that have been hit by the coronavirus pandemic. The NAACP is seeking a meeting with Biden and Harris on ensuring minority and civil rights representation in the new administration and Biden agenda. Former President Barack Obama calls on democrats to make room for new voices.

    Congress is under pressure to pass an economic relief bill. Pelosi and Schumer say that the bipartisan senate covid relief bill should serve as the "framework" for compromise talks.

    President Trump releases a rambling video, where he repeats lies about election fraud only the day after Barr says no evidence has been found that proves election voter fraud. A source says to expect a "flurry" of pardons before Trump leaves office in January. White House officials dodge questions on possible Trump pardons for Giuliani and members of the first family.

    New Mexico Governor LuJan Grisham emerges as the top contender to lead the health and human services. The CDC director says that the next three months will be "the most difficult time in public health history of [this] nation."

    The United Kingdom becomes the first country to approve the Pfizer-Biontech coronavirus vaccine; the first doses are to be rolled out next week.

    Barr to AP: No Evidence of Widespread Fraud That Would Change Outcome of Election Dec 02, 2020

    President Donald Trump's Attorney General William Barr told the Associated Press, "there is no evidence of widespread fraud in the election." The AP published an interview with Barr Tuesday. The statements from the attorney general are one of the most recent official rebukes from the Republicans of the president's claims of widespread fraud in his loss to President-elect Joe Biden.


    Trump and his attorneys are still pursuing legal action to challenge the 2020 election results in some key states. A number of those key states have already certified their results showing President-elect Biden as the winner. Both Arizona and Wisconsin certified their results on Monday.


    Biden is revealing more about his plans for his first 100 days in office. He introduced his economic team tasked with helping the economy recover from the Covid-19 pandemic Tuesday. The President-elect also discussed calling on Congress to pass a stimulus bill.

    Health care workers and residents of long-term care facilities will be first in line for any coronavirus vaccines. The vaccine advisers to the US Centers for Disease and Control Prevention voted to include both groups.


    Vaccinations are expected to begin in mid-to-late December.


    There are now 13.6 million Covid-19 cases in the United States, with almost 100,000 people hospitalized from the virus.

    Biden Receives First Presidential Daily Intel Briefing Dec 01, 2020

    United States President-elect Joe Biden received his first formal presidential daily intelligence briefing. Monday marked a milestone on Biden's path to the White House after weeks of being blocked by President Donald Trump to the nation's most vital intelligence.

    The President-elect, along with his Vice President-elect Kamala Harris announced an all-female White House communications team on Sunday. Biden also named a diverse economic team with four women in top roles.

    Arizona has officially certified Biden's victory, following false claims of voter fraud by President Trump. The recent win, awards the state's 11 electoral votes to the President-elect. Biden beat Trump by more than 10,000 votes, the secretary of state's office said.

    Trump has not conceded the election and he still claims without basis that he won,

    All Americans who want a coronavirus vaccine will be vaccinated by June 2021, says an official with Operation Warp speed. Pharmaceutical company Moderna applied to the US Food and Drug Administration for authorization of its Covid-19 vaccine on Monday.

    The FDA will meet with its advisory committee in December to review Pfizer's and Moderna's applications.

    Right now, there are more than 13.5 million Covid-19 cases in the United States. More than 260,000 people have died.

    Federal Appeals Court denies Trump effort to revive PA lawsuit Nov 28, 2020

    With his lawsuits failing in courts nationwide, Trump reverses course, says "Biden can only enter White House if he can prove" he got 80 million votes.

    Trump Grants Full Pardon To Michael Flynn Nov 26, 2020

    United States President Donald Trump has granted a full pardon to former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn. United States President-elect Biden said, "we're at war with the virus, not with one another" during a recent speech. Biden also urges people to unite in his recent Thanksgiving speech and calls on Americans to recommit to fighting the coronavirus pandemic. Dr. Fauci has "been in contact" with Biden's team. Biden also says, "I know we can and we will beat this virus."

    The United States coronavirus death toll now tops 261,000 with 12.7 million cases amid fear that Thanksgiving will be the "mother of all super-spreader events." New coronavirus cases are averaging 174,000 a day amid record hospitalizations.

    Biden is to get his first presidential daily briefing on Monday. Biden says that in America, "we have full, fair and free elections, then [we] honor the results." Biden also says that, "this is not a third Obama term... Trump has changed the landscape." Biden is open to putting a republican who voted for Trump on his administration team.

    Record lines are forming at food banks amid the pandemic economic crisis. The Mayo clinic is being forced to bring in workers from out of state.

    Biden: "America is Back," Introduces Key Cabinet Picks Nov 25, 2020

    President-elect Joe Biden declared quote "America is Back," as he formally introduced his key cabinet picks on Tuesday in Wilmington, Delaware. Biden said his appointees and nominees are a team that reflects "America is back and ready to lead the world."


    The White House has signed off on Biden to start receiving presidential daily intelligence briefings, White House officials say. The move is a step towards a transition of power held up by President Donald Trump, weeks after it was clear he lost the election. The General Services Administration issued a formal notice that released funds so the formal transition of government can proceed.


    The coronavirus is taking more American lives. Tuesday, the number of deaths surpassed 250,000, with the overall cases hitting 12.5 million. Hospitalizations have also hit the highest levels since the pandemic began in January.


    President Trump made a rare post-election appearance on Tuesday. He took credit for the stock market gains at a White House Briefing; despite saying previously the market would crash if Joe Biden won the election. He later went on to pardon a Thanksgiving turkey at the White House. During the annual tradition, he thanked first responders for their fight against Covid-19.
