Mike Nevin and Sergeant Jenifer Fiorello talk about the department and training with 'Critical Mindset Coordinated Response' and how that's attributed to the drop.
    The Critical Mindset Coordinated Response (CMCR) course is specifically intended to reinforce and enhance officers’ basic tactical knowledge, skills and abilities.

    San Francisco Police Department and Collaborative Reform Jun 17, 2020

    SFPD Chief William Scott discusses reform and the department's progress in the Collaborative Reform Initiative, which was undertaken in October, 2016.
    As of June 2nd 2020, 61 CRI recommendations (22%) have been determined to meet compliance measures established by the California Department of Justice. An additional 50 recommendations (18%) were submitted to CAL DOJ but were returned for additional information. Two recommendations (1%) were submitted and are under external review. The remaining 159 recommendations (59%) are being actively worked on by SFPD members who were assigned CRI recommendations in addition to their regular duties.
