011: Why you shouldn't use Canva clipart (& an alternative!) Jan 23, 2023

Show notes

This is for all the digital product sellers that love and use Canva. In the past 2 episodes (here & here) I've talked about using clipart and Canva's elements with commercial license to create products to sell.

In this episode, I go more into detail and share my interpretation of the current (as of 1/18/23) Canva TOU's when it comes to using their free and pro elements in your products for sale. There's a lot of information out there, but the best source would be to reach out to their customer service directly.

Just in case: I do not work for canva, I have no relationship with the company, I'm not a lawyer, the statements in this episode are my own opinion and interpretation of Canva's terms of use, this is not legal advice.

Which clipart is safe to use? Kim Costa has created a membership with commercial license clipart and a special 10% OFF coupon for us! Enter code: OTSHOP at checkout 👉🏻 here, The Stash.

008: Is Passive Income really passive? with Michelle Watson Dec 06, 2022

Show notes

Today's podcast episode is a really fun one. Michelle Watson joins me to talk about her journey into online entrepreneurship.

She is an engineer in her "offline life" managing big projects. Which makes total sense to me because her business is about creating templates for OneNote and Notion as well as educating other entrepreneurs about those two softwares.

We got to talking about what passive income means for her, how much time she puts into her online business and how long it takes her to research and create her courses.

👉🏻 She has a freebie for you. It's a Notion “Daily Wins List”. If you have been wanting to try Notion or if you are super new and are not sure how it works, grab this freebie so you can import the template and start playing around with it.

But if you're ready to jump all into Notion and start selling templates then you want to check out her course 👉🏻 here.

006: How To Get Traffic to Your Shop As A Newbie Nov 22, 2022

Show notes

"You can't get sales if people don't see your products, if you have no one coming to your shop, to your website, to your sales pages, and this is one of the questions that I get asked the most.
It always goes something like this. They will either ask, Is it better to start on Etsy because of the built in traffic, or do I need ads paid traffic? To my shop and my simple question is: yes... yes to both and I know that's not very helpful, but we're gonna talk a little bit more about what that means.
