The YouTube hour opened still on LeBron - Lindsey floated the idea that if LeBron sees the Cavs make deep playoff run, he might start thinking about going home to Cleveland to finish his career where he's truly beloved. Kap agrees. Dr. Robert Klapper joined for his weekly visit - he started with Vanderbilt's dislocated finger and then pivoted to Luca's calf injury. Sedano asked Klapper for a virtual visit ands described right knee pain above his MCL, usually when flying after heavy leg workouts; Klapper “diagnosed” him and offered a suggested recovery plan. Stephen A. Smith said that the Lakers organization allegedly doesn't like LeBron or Klutch Sports and Sedano reminded Kap there is history there… The Lindsey Segment! Charles Barkley has a man crush on Max Strus - Producer Lindsey asks the guys who is the most handsome pro athlete right now? How do the guys feel about AI airpods? Berg’s 3 Things: The Dodgers finally got a win vs. San Francisco, avoiding the sweep, thanks in large part to Shohei Ohtani on the mound with a jaw-dropping 0.86 ERA on the season. More Dodgers Talk! Kyle Tucker is showing signs of life, but can he keep it going? Sedano shared a funny story: Dan LeBetard's producer texted him to come on the show - but asked him to wear a robe because Kap appeared in a Burke Williams ad on ESPN LA's Instagram, and LeBetard's whole team ended up doing the basketball segment in robes. Kap brings up First Take arguing "bigger priority: appeasing Luca or doing right by LeBron?" and Sedano immediately called it a false binary, saying you can and should do both because both players want the same thing: a championship.

HR 1: LeBron Left Without Showering?! May 14, 2026

The guys start the show off with Kap pointing out how Dave McMenamin was all over TV and radio yesterday talking about his LeBron story. Kap and Morales make fun of LeBron for “having hurt feelings” and think it’s ridiculous. Sedano disagrees with Kap and Morales about their take on LeBron feeling underappreciated by the Lakers, and he teases why there’s more to it than what’s out there. Sedano argued the LeBron leaving without showering moment wasn't the whole story - it was the straw that broke the camel's back! Michelle Smallmon from Unsportsmanlike on ESPN Radio stopped by and got into a very heated debate about whether the Lakers SHOULD kowtow to LeBron.

Kap honed in on the key anecdote from Dave’s piece - the night LeBron broke the all-time wins record, Rob Pelinka gave the game ball to JJ Redick for his 100th coaching win instead, leaving LeBron feeling taken for granted. Brian Windhorst joins the guys live and said both sides are waiting for the other to move first - the Lakers want LeBron to come back on a team-friendly deal, LeBron wants to hear a real offer that shows they actually want him, and right now nobody's blinking. The blue toilet talk gave way to a bigger Dodger frustration - Max Muncie didn't challenge a borderline called strike three with the bases loaded in a high-leverage spot, and both guys couldn't let it go. They talked about the Dodgers game more broadly: Yamamoto gave up 3 homers, the offense was flat, and Ohtani hit one out - but only after Kap brought back his Ohtani Trump impression on air the day before. Sedano played a clip from Rob Pelinka and JJ Redick's press conference - specifically the part about having "3 QBs" in LeBron, Luka, and Austin Reaves - and broke down how that trio finally started clicking in March once LeBron sat out and figured out his role by watching.
