The Best of "The MindSide Podcast" Mar 06, 2018
    Show notes

In this week's episode of "The MindSide Podcast" Dr. Bhrett McCabe takes a look back at three of the best podcasts over the last few years.

We decided to give you a "Best Of" because next week we're launching a whole new podcast called "Exploring the MindSide". We think you're going to like it.

Picking the best three was tough, but this is what we narrowed it down to.

First up is Jon Gordon. Jon is a best-selling author and motivational speaker. He loves sharing the value of positivity and the impact that it can have on your life. After Jon we have Brandon Sneed. Brandon is a writer for Bleacher Report as well as CNN. He's also a published author with his book 'Head in the Game'. He gives some of his insights on our minds and the effects that our daily lives can have on the way we think. After Brandon we have the guys from Mindpump. Sal Di Stefano, Adam Schafer, and Justin Andrews have over 40 years of combined experience in different areas of the fitness world. Their goal is to showcase great people doing great things in the fitness industry. This podcast is edgy and it does have a little foul language. That makes it raw. We hope you enjoy it. Those are just some of the guests we've had on the MindSide podcast over the last few years. We hope you enjoyed listening to this "best of" edition. Don't forget, next week, the new revamped version of the Mindside podcast will debut. We think you're gonna like it. Thanks for listening. Mastering Personal Nutrition: Dr. Layne Norton Feb 20, 2018
    Show notes

Dr. Bhrett McCabe talks with Dr. Layne Norton about making lifestyle changes in 2018. Dr. Norton is a bodybuilder and has a PhD in Nutritional Sciences.

Dr. Norton cautions not to rely on motivation to get fit. Motivation is a poor way to do anything. Forming good habits can be much more powerful because motivation won't be there all the time.

Don't look at a diet as punishment. Look at it as a commitment you're making to get to the next level. You're not going to stumble into your goals. You have to make them a priority and if you do you will find a way to make it happen.

We hope you enjoy this week's episode as much as we did recording it. Thank you to Dr. Norton and to https://www.healthiq.com for making it all possible. You can also visit Dr. Norton's website at www.biolayne.com
