The Secret Teachings — History
The Secret Teachings

The Secret Teachings | 16 Years of Independent Research & Parapolitics

The Secret Teachings is a documentary-style broadcast hosted by veteran researcher and author Ryan Gable. Since 2010, the program has served as a bridge between ancient mysteries and modern reality, cutting through the noise of the traditional “Left-Right” paradigm to provide a truly independent analysis of our world. With over 16 years of on-air experience and exhaustive independent research, Ryan Gable decodes Esoteric Philosophy, Occult History, Archetypal Symbolism and mythology, along with a mixture of the Paranormal, Para-politics and Nutrition. From the hidden agendas of the present to the nutrition of the body and mind, the show promotes critical thinking as the ultimate tool for navigating the 21st century.

Beyond the Paradigm: In an era of digital censorship and partisan echo chambers, The Secret Teachings remains committed to unbiased inquiry. We don’t follow “sides”; we follow the patterns.

Listen & Support: The show airs Monday through Friday and is available across all major podcast platforms. As a completely independent production, we are supported by listeners like you.

BEST OF TST (2022) Reversing the Con w. David Oates (PT 1 & 2) Dec 28, 2025

Show notes

BEST OF TST PT !: Ryan Gable will talk with reverse speech expert and pioneer David Oates about "Reversing the Con"... For years our show has crossed over the acceptable threshold of the ufo, spiritual, and the new age communities. We have asked questions and made observations that have angered many. This has resulted in harassment, slander, threats, blackballing, etc., all because we dared to question the so-called experiences of those who claim to be in contact with galactic federations, alien alliances, and other dimensional beings. Our goal was never to dismiss such things, as our show is rooted in objective interest, but asking for proof is often treated as sacrilege. For years we have also played the audio of certain men and women we believe to be running grifts or cons. This resulted in the expose of obvious lies and Freudian slips in their own official presentation. Now, we will run the audio backward for a reverse speech analysis with David Oates.
BEST OF TST PT II: Ryan Gable will talk in this PART 2 edition of “Reversing the Con” with reverse speech expert and pioneer David Oates. But first, cohost Mike D. New to this episode will be the reverse speech of Bob Lazar, Travis Walton, Steven Greer, Billy Meier, and more. From reverse speech analysis learn who is running a “scam” or “con” and who is likely telling the truth: For years our show has crossed over the acceptable threshold of the ufo, spiritual, and the new age communities. We have asked questions and made observations that have angered many. This has resulted in harassment, slander, threats, blackballing, etc., all because we dared to question the so-called experiences of those who claim to be in contact with galactic federations, alien alliances, and other dimensional beings. Holiday Whoobie Whaty (12/26/25) Dec 27, 2025

Show notes

You might not be able to stop all injustice in the world, but you can make it worse. Social media feeds on Christmas this year have shown arguments over whether Jesus was Palestinian or Israeli, an issue that shouldn't matter because of what happened after his birth and considering what he taught. Another popular video shows a Christmas tree with people hanging off of its branches and a caption about Muslims destroying a Christian tradition. The video, of course, was from 2016 and shows a mall event in Cairo, Egypt. Furthermore, since when is a Christmas tree a Christian symbol? Also, isn't Christmas a holy day, and wasn't the sun created by God? Why are holidays and the winter solstice considered heathen? Tonight's special Friday show will explore this along with the 2025 words of the year and top 20 conspiracies.

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Krampus w. Andrew Cox (12/24/25) Dec 24, 2025

Show notes

It is that time of the year again, mainly that of the winter solstice, ghost riders, the wild hunt, Krampus, Belsnickel, Befana, Joulupukki, and, of course, Santa and baby Jesus. Few have probably ever considered how much like Halloween the Christmas season really is: from ghosts and monsters to the contractual obligations set forward in both the trick-or-treat agreement and the Santa “clause,” otherwise known as the naughty-or-nice list. The lights, ornaments, gifts, botanicals, and evergreen vegetation serve many roles in decorating for the holiday, or holy day, season. From real characters to mythological monsters; from folklore to modern religious celebrations; and from natural cyclical changes to interpretations of nature as the end-times apocalypse, it is certainly beginning to look a lot like Krampus.

Most Terrible Time of the Year (12/23/25) - Extended Dec 23, 2025

Show notes

In early 2025 KFC released a disturbing commercial featuring references to witchcraft, cults, cannibalism and ritual baptisms. In December 2025, McDonald’s released a disturbing commercial made with AI. The ad showed how terrible cooking, family, and Christmas really are, prompting viewers to visit McDonalds instead. Coca-cola, on the other hand, released an AI commercial for Christmas focusing on nostalgic imagery of Christmas and Santa, alongside baby animals. The question is, does a Coca-Cola commercial made with AI, but embodying positive holy day spirit, fair better than a commercial with real humans and a little CG, but one focused on cannibalism and essentially mocking religion?

Reviewing the FOGVID of 2025 w. Ryder Lee (12/22/25) Dec 22, 2025

Show notes

It’s back! The mysterious fog is back for the second time in 2025. What would otherwise be natural atmospheric conditions of temperatures and moisture in the winter, like the natural Tule fog of California, has been transformed into a sinister conspiracy to do what nobody is quite sure exactly. Sure, there were military experiments using aerosols in California going back decades. But that’s a lot different than fog with a strange smell. Perhaps it could be the fact that Los Angeles is the smoggiest and most polluted city in the United States consistently. In fact, it’s actually one of the most polluted in the world. Several California cities from San Diego to Sacramento are actually on the list of most polluted in the United States.

Got a Light (12/19/25) Dec 20, 2025

Show notes

Diwali and Hanukkah are based on the same principles of light and warmth, though the latter developed out of a temple rededication and the former is from a far older, universal practice that we know as Christmas lights, i.e., all lights that illuminate the dark and warm the cold. We can find these festivals all over the world and at all times of the year.

BEST OF TST: Civilization Keeps Getting Older (9/1/25) Dec 18, 2025

Show notes

The widespread use of substances like peyote, blue water lily, poppy, mushrooms, herbs, ergot, soma, and tobacco appears to be related to the worldwide building of pyramid and temples, many of which are connected to sacred springs, caves, mountains, or the heavens above, and all which relate to some ancient mystery of the spirit realm. The idea of a world Navel can be found in structures connected to the underworld and the heavens, but can also be found in numerous mythologies around the world. Caves are natural wombs and pyramids serve the same purpose. Volcanos and mountains are sacred as preservers of death and resurrection, something clearly at the core of human spiritual practices dating back to an unknown time. For as important as the stars are in regard to the afterlife, focus on the mysteries of birth may play a an equally signifiant role in these traditions. As old paradigms are being overthrown for new truly shocking ones it is important to refrain from disregarding the latter in favor of increasingly outlandish claims about the past such as Tatara, which appears to be a counter narrative to the unraveling of human history.
