THE SECRET ROOM | UNLOCKED

An update from one of our most popular episodes. Remember Kay from Ep 122 "Daughters?" She told us the tragic story of how her abusive ex-partner ripped her daughters away from her. Now Kay's back with two of her girls to tell us about how things have been going since being reunited, and their paths growing into adults. Don't miss it.

And in the following Unlocked, today's guest Kayla's back to tell Susie about her very first meet up with her bio dad! This was a show notes exclusive. Aren't you glad you read this!?

What Was That Like Aug 30, 2022

Show notes

Surprise appearance! The next episode of the Secret Room isn't due for a week. But I wanted to take the opportunity to introduce you to a podcast that I love. It's called "What Was That Like?" and just like the Secret Room, guests share intimate, personal stories.

I know the host, Scott Johnson, and he has true empathy for his guests, giving them wide berth to tell their stories. I know a lot you already listen to What Was That Like, but I bet many of you haven't found it yet. Scott and I are recommending each others podcasts to our audiences, and it's about time because it's a perfect match.

Hear people share their extreme experiences, first hand, with Scott Johnson on What Was That Like, available on any podcast app or whatwasthatlike.com.

Today I present one of my favorites, "Danny Found a Baby in the Subway." Enjoy!
