The Sean Pendergast Show - David Samson, Former Miami Marlins President Jun 22, 2020
    Show notes

David believes this 2020 MLB season is very much in jeopardy, not even so much because of the financials, but because of the Coronavirus. Right now what the players will be offered is one year deals. There is even uncertainty as to whether or not there will be fans in stands in 2021. The Sean Pendergast Show - Mike Axisa, CBSSports.com MLB Writer Jun 15, 2020
    Show notes

Mike understands that if the 2020 season doesn't take place, this is going to hurt the MLB players down the line. We also know that it won't be a good look for baseball. The MLBPA is sticking to their convictions. It is about revenue and the players want their fair share. The way the MLB operates is they certainly are willing to be quick to cut players salaries. Players making concessions will also give them a higher minimum salary. Understands the public might sour on the league for the time being.
