    Pixie Lighthorse mothers the nurture-deficient world by teaching Earth Medicine theory and skills. Her educational programs are used by helpers and healers to advance in their fields of study, as well as by individuals in the self-healing process.

    She is the author of the Prayers of Honoring series, written to restore the bonds between people and nature while healing spiritual trauma. In 2017, she completed her third book, Boundaries & Protection: Honoring Self, Honoring Others.

    She has created and taught over forty online educational courses applying integrative shamanism, animal and plant studies, and the Medicine Wheel. She also developed a shamanic painting course entitled Visual Quest for online and live audiences.

    She defines Earth Medicine is the accumulated learnings modeled by nature: the creatures, plants and geology which make up our world.

    Busy pursuing a career in Acting in Vancouver, life took a massive turn when Sarah became pregnant with her first son. Her spirit called her- rather forced- her into nature. Upon submersion into solitude and the quiet country life she discovered her authentic writing voice and began creating the podcast series 'Live Awake' (August 2015-current). Her teachings and meditations have been requested for use in prisons in the United States as well as recovery and wellness programs, and have been translated into several different languages. She has since given birth to her second son and attributes much of her creativity and insights to becoming and being mother.

    "I had to make this record, for me," says Deb Talan, best known as the girl from the folk pop duo The Weepies. "Marriage, children, being in a band – if you do any of that, at some point you start to wonder what part is still you. And then I got cancer, with a brutal treatment and surgery, and then full recovery. And as lucky as I am with all of that, I just felt lost. This project has been a way to reclaim a part of myself."

    The 13 gorgeous songs that make up Deb Talan's new record LUCKY GIRL, released this year on Nettwerk Records, are an exploration featuring Deb's pop sensibility, her signature confessional writing, and of course her unmistakable voice.

As an eating disorder survivor herself, Rachel speaks with great wisdom, sensitivity, and authority about what it takes to live as a well-fed woman in the modern world.     Francis Weller, MFT, is a psychotherapist, writer and soul activist. He is a master of synthesizing diverse streams of thought from psychology, anthropology, mythology, alchemy, indigenous cultures and poetic traditions. Author of The Wild Edge of Sorrow: Rituals of Renewal and the Sacred Work of Grief, he has introduced the healing work of ritual to thousands of people. The core of his work is creating pathways to reclaiming our indigenous soul, what psychologist Carl Jung called the "unforgotten wisdom" that resides in the heart of the psyche. To further this work, he founded and directs WisdomBridge, an organization that offers educational programs that seek to integrate the wisdom from traditional cultures with the insights and knowledge gathered from western cultures.
