Show notes
In this episode, I sat down with Rick Ross on The Sarah Fraser Show to talk about his 3rd book, Renaissance of a Boss, and how he pushed through a creative rut with a road trip, constant learning, and a renewed focus on legacy-level music. We joked about my “Sister Wives” pitch (he shut it down), swapped TV tastes (he’s into Forensic Files, American Greed, and First 48), and he shared stories about his ambition, upbringing, and why he believes in accountability and hard work. Rick opened up about a scary shroom-related seizure that became a wake-up call, discussed drug culture changing over time, and explained how he built his business success through patience and due diligence—including owning 30+ Wingstop franchises. We also covered his views on roasts, touring pop-ins with Usher and Chris Brown, his fallout with Drake, and his goal of owning a piece of the Miami Dolphins.
