In an age where social media has changed the political landscape, we have needed and still need to adapt. We are politicians that are trying to break the mold and be less polished and more human. We try not to take ourselves too seriously. Let’s face it, the media will get their hands on our dirty laundry no matter what, so we might as well save them the trouble.
Too often in the political realm, information is misinterpreted, facts are skewed, and truths are twisted by the media, and even worse, by people on social media. People crave the facts, yet at the same time a lot of people would prefer to believe everything they read on the internet. How do you know what’s real and what’s fake?
It’s time we politicians stop telling people what they want to hear, and start telling the raw, honest truth.
Join us while we take you into our world of public service, where we laugh, cry, and keep it real. After all, you have to take our word with a grain of salt and decide for yourself what to believe, because we know you will.
We hope to keep hope alive that politicians are human, empathetic and genuine folks with a great sense of humor that truly want to make the world a better place.
Oh wait...the podcast logo gave you the first impression that we were talking about something dirty and illegal? Well, that’s the point friends, make sure you take everything with a grain of salt. We hope to provide the salt grain that is the perfect antidote to any poison you may be forced to ingest...
